Sec'y Clinton is, even as we speak, answering the silly, abusive partisan attacks of Republicans in a very humble yet effective way. She takes responsibility, has already directed that security be beefed up, and has also directed that security requests be given TOP priority.

This is being dealt with, but naturally the far right will continue to try to use the issue to attack Mr. Obama, who knew nothing of any security demands from Libya (nor did Sec'y Clinton). Idiots pretend that such requests go immediately to the highest offices in the land, when in fact they do no such thing.

But then, everything the far right and Republicans have said about the issue shows that they give terrorists a pass while condemning their own President. The right are not real Americans.

What happens on 9/11 depends on which party the President is, if you're a GOPer or rightie.

If he's a Repubbie, you excuse him everything even if the warning was on his desk.

If he's a Dem, you blame him for everything even if he had no idea anyone had even asked for more security.

For a Republican, this past 9/11 was far worse and far more the President's fault, even though 4 were killed instead of thousands.

A 9/11 anniversary and no one is put on alert or takes intelligence a little more seriously? Even in "peacetime" the military has Quick Response or Reaction units on stand by in uniform waiting to be deployed. Sometimes it's just a platoon in the local theatre of operations and other places it company and/or battalion waiting for deployment, that is their sole purpose.

Setting all that aside wtf did happen? No one will truely say. It's not all Hillary's fault but what did she know or do in confluence with the adminstration. Yes it was terrorist but a heavily armed flash mob, spur of the moment?

How do you KNOW that "no one [was] put on alert or [took] intelligence a little more seriously?" If the attack was sudden and taking advantage of existing unrest, it'd be unlikely we'd have detected it ahead of time.

Investigation is well and good, and I applaud Sec'y Clinton and others taking blame and taking actions to prevent a recurrence. My problem is with right-wingers who ignore the terrorism and use the attack for partisan advantage. That's un-American.
