Unlike the GOPasaurs "papers please" laws which specifically target Hispanics, this law targeted any people in high crime neighborhoods regardless of their color/ethnicity.
The judge got this one wrong.
The rights of the People to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

It's called the Fourth Amendment. The judge got it right.

They can still stop and frisk if they're just looking for large soft drinks - right?

The judge has to live with the part he played in the coming shootouts by his ghetto gunners. There has to be some way to protect yourself from the untamed, uncivilized. It looks like George Zimmerman had the only answer. The Government that is supposed to protect all citizens in the U S only protects a chosen few.

Depends on your definition of "unreasonable".

The judge got it wrong.

walking down the street, doing nothing wrong, and having no reasonable suspision other than you being in a higher crime area (which is not always the case in NYC and Stop&frisk) seems an appropriate definition of unreasonable.

Let's see. The SCOTUS did rule that stop and frisk was constitutional. IRREFUTABLE FACT: 98% of the gun crime in NYC is committed by young black and hispanic males aged 15 to 30. FACT: All the rest of the minorities that don't fall in the aged 15 to 30 black and latino male group have a right to live in a crime free atmosphere. COMMON SENSE dictates that the police concentrate in high crime areas. The ass hat idiot liberal democratic judge determined that stop and frisk resulted in less than 1% of arrests and was a total failure. In actuality the fact was that stop and frisk had resulted in guns being removed from the street. In other words A TOTAL SUCCESS. Without a doubt without stop and frisk guns will start appearing on the streets again. Glad that I don't live in that sewer.
any policies that result in less than 1% are pretty useless. If you want to get guns of the streets i could name a dozen policies that would work better than stop and frisk but that is not the point of this policy now is it? No, so judging a policy based on how well it does some other statistic (which isnt even really that well) is not a decent way to measure sucess.

You take zero account for any civil liberties violations.

You take zero account into any lawsuit brought on by this policy

You take zero account into what this does to the relationship between the citizens and the police.

Again, i could go on and on but if you already have such a narrow perspective of the situation and already made up your mind, it doesnt really matter what i type here..

Except that's not the case with NYC's stop & frisk law. The police do have other reasonable suspicion when they stop & frisk people; at least that's the policy.

Now maybe this law was being implemented in a racist way which is why the judge ruled it unconstitutional.

But as written, there is nothing patently unconstitutional about stop & frisk laws.

What "crime" did George Zimmerman prevent?

You call others untamed and uncivilized, yet you're the one who advocates vigilante justice. Terrific irony.

These laws are just testing the waters for the elitists totalitarian rule plans. The working class groups which encompass people from all groups has been conditioned much further along then say minority groups in general. Poor and working poor are the targets at some point and they will be conditioned one way or the other. The nwo government will not take "no" for an answer. Once implemented we will be conditioned to where we can and can not go as fences and checkpoints will be the norm in many parts of America.

Little John Kerry is already talking about militarizing the Internet so the government can censure the anti Obama posts. Kerry thinks governing has become much more difficult since the internet.

The government can only do to us what we allow it to do. There is an election coming up 14 months. We have ample time to make enormous, giving the Republicans back the Senate, and adding seats in the House. They can't be worse then what we have now.

That is right. There is ample evidence that the Democrats have stolen us blind, imported illegal aliens to vote for them, destroyed the middle class, think 7.5% unemployment is the new normal. Oh there is so much evidence, and it will only get worse before it gets better. 35 Democrats joined Republicans to vote to repeal Obamacare. It is a disaster. Now part of it is being put off until 2015. My money is on Uncle Joe to be the nominee. All the Republicans have to do is ply him with liquor. This is going to be fun to watch. It has already started. Their is a negative article in the N Y Times about the Clinton Foundation. This is just the beginning!!

For your kind, it is the end. Make no mistake, you are the last of the dinosaurs.

By the way, would you care to cite some of your "ample evidence" about Democrats' alleged theft?
