Getting like a 200 year old bottle of wine now a days. The judge actually did their job and followed the constitution and not the political winds.

Now the police will have to follow THE law instead of breaking it to enforce it.

If that Mayor had his way, NY city would be run like Nazi Germany (get out of the car; show me your papers; come with us, etc.)

He wants total control yet he can't control anything. He lost control of hurricane relief in places like Staten Island and thought/assumed he had enough control and resources to host an international event/marathon. He doesn't have control. Nor does he deserve full control.

Just another uppity establishment type who wants to use the police as his goons.

Oh, goody. Now New York can have a killing field like the other big cities with restless natives every weekend. A few years ago the family went to Chicago to see Christmas Carol. The loop was so beautiful, all decorated for Christmas, not a piece of paper, or garbage anywhere. It was the year Mayor Daley was trying to be part of the Olympics. Now downtown Chicago looks a lot like Detroit.

The policy needed changing, obviously.

What's funny here is the support for this ruling by right wingers, who support "freedom" from a law favored by an unpopular NYC politician but raged angrily against restrictions on stopping suspected "illegal immigrants" in Arizona.

Consistency is the bugaboo of the Right..:)

What the liberals will never admit is white people, who looked suspicious, were also frisked, but the Liberals have to paint a distorted picture every time it looks like we could clean up the city streets. So O. K. I guess we will just sit back, and let the bad guys eliminate each other. This is what America has come to. I still think with the right people in leadership we can restore America t her greatness. No more experimental "firsts"!!

Unlike the GOPasaurs "papers please" laws which specifically target Hispanics, this law targeted any people in high crime neighborhoods regardless of their color/ethnicity.

The judge got this one wrong.

Liberals like to live with many rules until they effect them personally. It is fine if we stop, and frisk bad guys. I believe that, but it is the Liberal Mayor Bloomy (I call him Mayor Balmy) who only want rules for others. He wouldn't like to be frisked. I thought stop, and frisk was a good law, because it did get thousands of illegal fire arms off the street. Now, NY will begin having weekly shootouts like they have in Chicago.
