The nail on the head Mike? And how dare you ‘stand there’ proclaiming what your guy “went through in Vietnam” was heroic without considering what he did to the innocent’s on the ground. No – holding this old man up as a war hero is much easier and politically safer … but you know what – we should all know better by now! In fact, it’s the same crap Bush-the-second has been pulling off in Iraq, while promoting the heroics of those having launched cruse missiles from carrier decks… I’m willing to consider both sides – are you?
My suspicion with you (as you appear to be spamming this forum against Obama) was nailed by my leadoff comment:“I detect religious fears deeper than racial… It’s the new fear of Muslims that secretly rile Obama detractors – though they’ll rarely admit it.”
Care to admit it? You’re pushing the same radical “Christian Agenda” as has the current Bush Administration (along with your guy McSame) as you both attempt to wrap yourselves tight in the American Flag. How dare you!
So one worthless war begets another? And anyone dishing it out is immune to the consequences of their actions - Admiral’s boys or not? And what about your Bush Administration’s torture agenda? It’s not OK for those we invade - but it’s OK when committed by us? You appear a creature of double standards.
Your man “McCain” may duck his responsibility for death and destruction by calling it “following orders” in Viet Name – but lets stop short of calling him a “hero.”
“Hamas” is likely pleased American’s are considering someone willing to consider their view of stolen land (Palestine) with legitimacy – not the continued blind support of conflict in that region because it plays into your biblical apocalyptic dreams.
You’re out to discredit Barack Obama; some will see through you, other’s won’t. Fortunately, my home state of Oregon has an excellent track record of the former; and you may have just cast ‘our’ vote for Barack Obama!
Once and for all McCain is not my guy, but I'll be damn if I'm going to cast a vote for someone the likes of Obama. Unfortunately your State of Oregon tends to go so far off to the left it's almost too funny. It least I can say that I stand the middle ground on most issues and conservative on some too. And since you really don't know my biblical background so you can't say " it plays into my biblical apocalyptic dreams". You better go back and study history as to why Israel defended itself against them. And about my comment as you said to "discredit Barack Obama" He's done that himself it's that some people are to stupid to see what a Liberal SOB he really is. And if you want to live in a socialistic society
I'm sure North Korea, Iran would love to have you there. End of the lesson

So McSame’s “not your guy”… so whose that leave … some “too funny” Extremist Libertarian or Constitutionalist Nobody?

Oregon “to the left”– and you’re in California?! You do have a “Terminator”-- whereas we’ve a Democrat [I’m in Oregon folks].

And don’t vote for Obama – I’ll do it for you! In fact – I just did!! Now I’m already looking forward to doing the same come November! Sure love our (Oregon’s) Vote By Mail, gives us plenty of time to figure it out; along with help from those like you, Mike.

You know, Mike, you don’t sound all that friendly or educated… And since you’ve helped Obama close the deal with me & mine, you’re one “SOB” I’ve no need or desire to read.

Enjoy the returns!

Obama is subtle, but he still comes off with playing the race card by bringing it up and then claiming he isn't playing the race card. In today's news, we have this statement:

"So rather than an abstract set of questions about,'Is he too liberal, is he too conservative, how do voters handle an African American, et cetera,' I think this is going to be a very concrete contest around very specific plans for how we improve the lives of Americans and our vision for the future," he said.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080510/ap_on_el_ ...

Ironically, the question never entered my head "How do voters handle an African American" because most of us Americans can rise above the racist nonsense, that is up to the time he brings it up again, which he just did.

And how about being simply an American. What's with the African-American label. Is it not enough to simply be American in the year 2008? Is there some current loyalty to Africa in this day and age? Must the rest of also hyphenate our Country of Ancestral Origin? Irish-American? German-American? British-American? Italian-American (and the list goes on and on.)

So, Jack the Spammer, you can 'speak?'

Look! That 28% of the Republican Party still in bed with Bush have just found something to do! They know who’s on top. From Clinton Bashing to Obama Bashing. Creeps!

How much worse-off would they like to see this nation get? 4, maybe 8 more years of the same - via “McSame?” No thanks!

Vote Democrat come November, then hold their feet to the fire on illegal immigration…

For those of you that are blind about where Obama sees himself. If this doesn't convince you that you need to worry about him, then nothing will.
Pay close attention to the last comment!!

Below are a few lines from Obama's books; his words:

From Dreams of My Father:'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'

From Dreams of My Father:'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race.'

From Dreams of My Father:'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'

From Dreams of My Father:'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'

From Dreams of My Father:'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'

From Audacity of Hope:'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'

I believe the far left will/has abandoned Hillary. Goofy as it sounds, she could have a chance as an independent as the other two candidates are not that strong. On paper, Hillary and McCain are almost interchangeable with one another. She could very well pull from the middle of both parties substantially.

The insider says he frequently objected to Mr. Obama's placement of Cynthia K. Miller, a member of the Nation of Islam, as the Treasurer of his U.S. Senate campaign. When I contacted Miller, now a Chicago real estate agent, to verify whether she was a member of the Nation of Islam and whether she shared Louis Farrakhan's bigoted views about Jews, she responded, "None of your business! Where are you going with this?" She said her resignation as Obama's treasurer had nothing to do with her Nation of Islam ties. Then, she hung up.

The Obama insider says he also objected to Obama's involvement with Jennifer Mason, whom he says is also a member of the Nation of Islam. Mason is Obama's Director of Constituent Services in his U.S. Senate office and is also in charge of selecting Obama's Senate interns. She did not respond to repeated calls for comment.

But it's not just that he employed these individuals in positions of power in his office, it's that when the former associate raised objections, he says Mr. Obama's position was that he saw nothing wrong with the Nation of Islam and didn't think it was a problem. If true--and the fact that Ms. Mason still holds her prominent Obama Senate staff position bears that out--Obama's condemnation of Farrakhan, this month, is phony.

But the insider says there is more to it than that. Obama's Illinois State Senate district consisted of prime Nation of Islam territory, including Hyde Park, home to Farrakhan's mansion. It is not possible, Illinois politicos say, to win that district without the blessing of the NOI leader. NOI members, including consultant Shakir Muhammad, held important roles in the Obama state senate campaign.

Remember Ron Malley who resign ..obama's middle east advisor..

How many Nation of Islam members will work in an Obama White House if Hussein obama is elected?

No to Hussein Obama

Yes, Jack can speak and more that that he can post what the people who are voting Tuesay in Oregon and Kentucky should be thinking about.

The truth is...no one knows enough about Obama that they should "want" to put him in office. He and his wife have said and done some things that should make all Americans' think about who NOT to vote for.

I have one vote Neal just as you have one vote Tuesday. I will vote for Hillary Clinton and my state will go with Hillary, by a large margin just as West Virginia did, Ohio, PA, MA, TX, CA, NY, NJ etc.

One last thing for the readears to think about.

One of Barrack Husein Obama's insiders sais many objected to Mr. I agree with you and I even wrote to her and almost begged her to run as an Independent. The problem is,is that only 29% of a Poll was in support of her running that way. I don't know if it would be higher once she made the announcement. The other thing is she is so dedicated to the party I don't think she would do that. Although for sure she would take a lot of the votes away from Obama, and give it to McCain. Which between the two to be honest I would prefer MCCain over Obama any day.

Senator Obama is a dual citizen. He is a citizen of Kenya and USA. Does anyone else see a conflict here? He should not even be a senator until he denounces his citizenship in Kenya. Where does his loyalty really lie? Are we Americans not concerned at all about national security? We need to amend the constitution to prohibit dual citizens from being a senator, representative, president, or vice president. It is wrong!

You're so right Mike, I was amazed at the number of people who attended his rally in Oregon.

I can't understand what people see that I don't.

I spent time in Vietnam in 1965 and I love my country. And for the hell of me I can't see anyone risking our country to someone so incredibly unable to do the job as Barack Hussein Obama.

Lord knows we've had nearly 8 years of a piss poor mess with a piss poor guy, who's been calling himself our President. Haven't we learned what it is to make wrong choices, and taking chances?

We can do worse this time believe it or not. The news media has played a big role in influencing the people who haven't been watching closely.

Oh well.
