Inquiry harshly criticizes U.S. State Department over Benghazi attack

Dec 18, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Reuters

Security at the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya was grossly inadequate to deal with a September 11 attack that killed a U.S. ambassador and three others because of systemic failures within the State Department, an official inquiry found on Tuesday.

America has a population of 308 Million citizens, 4.3 million are collecting welfare, and 2 million long term unemployment. That hardly classifies as a dependent society in a population of 308 Million Citizens. Those allegations of a dependent society in America are exaggerated and blown out of proportion greatly.

The Republicans have been working 50 years to defund and dismantle the FDR New Deal programs and the Johnson's Great Society and have done rather well.

47 Million being on food stamps is a clear indication of the disappearing middle class in America, another aim of the Republicans. With less than 8 Million on unemployment long term and welfare in the nation, a large portion of American senior citizens, and the working poor are on food stamps in record numbers. That speaks to the declining and stagnant wages in America since Ronald Reagan's assault on the middle class workers and union busting.

You want to reduce the food stamp rolls, support a livable wage in America, as it stands more than half of the American workforce could not come up with $2000 Cash in 24 hours if a need arises.

Government benefits like the senior citizens social security that they worked and paid into for participation, Social Security is exclusively paid into by those working poor folk who pay FICA Taxes for a pension once retired. Or are you alluring to Veterans Benefits?

You could expect that with an aging population and 10,000 Seniors day reaching retirement age, or do you support withdrawing the social security program from America's seniors?

When it comes to cutting entitlements, the Republican are never intending to cut the entitlements that exclusively benefit the wealthy only those programs that support the middle class and working poor. Those special tax rates and tax carve outs by another name are legislated entitlements.

That has nothing to do with my comments. I agree with you that Americans are becoming too dependent. Obama encourages dependence. Eligibility requirements have been eased and people have been encouraged to obtain food stamps.
When we have more receiving government benefits than paying taxes, we are totally doomed. It is headed in that direction.

You imbecile, Congress is one branch of the United States government, Congress has two houses, if you have a certificate of completion for the 4th grade it needs to be rescinded.

You should not discuss politics until you've earn at the minimum a GED. Now go watch Fraggle Rock to learn something about how America is constructed.

Nearly half of all Americans live in a household in which someone receives government benefits, more than at any time in history, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.

At the same time, the number of American households not paying federal income taxes has grown to an estimated 45% in 2010, up from 39% five years ago, according to the Tax Policy Center, a nonpartisan research organization.

More than half of U.S. workers don't earn enough to be taxed. A large segment game the system by taking enough credits and deductions to eliminate all tax obligations. Even though most of us still pay Medicare and Social Security payroll taxes, 13% of all U.S. households pay neither federal income nor payroll taxes.

Some 41.3 million people were on food stamps as of June 2010 up 45% from June 2008.

With unemployment high and federal jobless benefits now available for up to 99 weeks, 9.7 million unemployed workers were receiving checks in late August 2010, more than twice as many as the 4.2 million in August 2008.

Clarity on Government Benefits if you will, are you referring to Social Security, seniors contribute to social security as do all working poor and middle class America for participation in drawing a pension in retirement, is that the Government Benefit you are referring to?

Veteran Benefits and Social Security are the largest programs distribution federal money to Americans,

Welfare and Long Term Unemployment combined have less than 8 million citizens drawing funds and it's hardly those programs that you can use to characterize America as a dependent society.

Don't double talk....... Would you like to cease the Social Security and Veteran Pension plans? The GOP in Congress would like to eliminate Social security and redirect those taxes from the working poor to other federal causes.

Federal unemployment begins only after the 26 biweekly checks from state unemployment programs is exhausted, presently there are 2 million citizens drawing federal unemployment, there are 4.3 Million drawing aid from the Federal/State relief programs.

Most of those 49 Million in food stamps in America are employed and represent the working poor in America. If you want to cut the rolls of the working poor you would have to support a higher minimum wage or a livable wage initiative.

Lord Obama was on the phone with Sandra Fluke 24 hours after Rush Limbaugh insulted her on the radio for being a slut.

For two weeks after 4 people were slaughtered in Benghazi, Lord Obama was still claiming it was caused by a video on YouTube.

Hillary can't testify in front of the inquirie because she fell and bumped her head, coincidentally a week before she was scheduled. Now that the concussion excuse is getting stale, she develops a blood clot.

Aren't ANY of you knee-jerk libs going to wake up? YOUR SOCIALIST LEADERS ARE CORRUPT AS HELL. STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR THEM.

Didn't think you would get it. You're a pathetic, dependent, teat-sucking liberal. As long as a socialist promises to give you more free stuff, you'll buy whatever crap they tell you. No questions asked.

Remember Jim McDougal? No? He's the guy that laundered money thru Whitewater real estate with Princess Hillary back in the 90's. He DIED IN JAIL THE NIGHT BEFORE HE WAS TO TESTIFY AGAINST HILLARY. Just a coincidence, right? Google it, Dickweed.

On April 3, 1996, when Brown was 54 and on an official trade mission, the Air Force CT-43 (a modified Boeing 737) carrying Brown and 34 other people, including New York Times Frankfurt Bureau chief Nathaniel C. Nash, crashed in Croatia. While attempting an instrument approach to Čilipi airport, the airplane crashed into a mountainside. Everyone aboard was killed instantly except Air Force Tech. Sgt. Shelley Kelly, a flight attendant, who died while being transported to a hospital.[2] The final Air Force investigation attributed the crash to pilot error and a poorly designed landing approach.[3] Speculations as to the circumstances surrounding the plane crash that caused Brown's death include many government cover-up and conspiracy theories, largely based on Brown having been under investigation by independent counsel for corruption.[4] Of specific concern was a trip Brown had made to Viet Nam on behalf of the Clinton Adminsitration. Brown carried an offer for normalizing relations between the U.S. and the former communist enemy. When details of the meetings and subsequent offer were linked to the press President Clinton denied it. Brown was scheduled to testify before a House committee but died in a plane crash prior to when he was to appear.

You will notice it was pilot error, however the plane was making a instrament landing. Meaning computer landing. The plan flew into the mountain so the computer had probably been re calibrated to read the wrong altimiter reading.

Controlling the debt is not that high a priority, contrary to the economic lunacy preached by BOTH sides, especially Republicans. Recovery from recession is FAR more important.

Republicans have at least supported privatization of SS, as did Bush when he was in office. Had we done so before the recession, of course, many people would've lost their entire retirement due to Wall St. gambling. A very bad idea.

Yes, Mr. Obama called to offer his sympathy for the slander of Ms. Fluke by enraged right-wing drug abuser Limbaugh. So?

Mr. Obama branded the Benghazi attack an "act of terror" the very next morning, while Mr. Romney attacked him for being in "league with terrorists." Which one acted more honestly and responsibly?

Ms. Clinton not only injured herself, but has a serious medical condition involving a blood clot. Why are you attacking and trying to smear her for that?

It's YOU who need to wake up, be honest, stop smearing people, and stop misusing terms like "socialist." You are an ugly far-right troll.

Note how right-wing noisemakers ALWAYS blame the victim when that person is attacked by their own kind or the subject of misfortune.

Ms. Fluke was to "blame" for being attacked by overweight far-right drug addict Limbaugh.

Mr. Obama was to "blame" for Benghazi, not the terrorists launching the attack or the Republican candidate who smeared him.

Ms. Clinton was to "blame" for falling and for having a blood clot.

Do you see the pattern here? It's an ugly one.

Fluke was attacked for wanting the public to pay for her sleeping around 24/7 and for lying to congress by saying birth control cost $3000 a year instead of the $9 a month. She is a fake, a flake and a fluke.
