Today's Republican Party is a group of poltroons unfit to lead. Instead of standing for anything they kowtow to the liberal media so as not to offend anyone - a sure recipe for more electoral defeats la moderate McCain and moderate Romney. Romney financially destroyed his primary opposition (real conservatives) one by one only to have Obama do the same to him via negative advertising. This the Republican 'establishment' cannot comprehend.
To win the Republican Party must energize its conservative base. Moderates stand for nothing but reckless accommodation to all. That has and will equal defeat.
I think your diatribe is paranoid detritus, but I do like your use of the word "poltroon". It adds a little class.

The games politicians play: Barack Obama is having a lot of fun using the government shutdown to squeeze the public in imaginative ways. The point of the shutdown game is to see who can squeeze hardest, make the most pious speech and listen for the applause. Its a variation on the grade-school ritual of you show me yours, and Ill show you mine.

President Obama is not a bad poker player, but the man with all the chips always starts with the advantage (and he gets all the aces). He has closed Washington down as tight as he dares, emphasizing the trivial and the petty in making life as inconvenient as he can for the greatest number. Its all in a noble cause, of course. Access to most of the memorials is limited, and often in curious ways. The Lincoln Memorial is easy to reach, with the streets around it remaining open. But the Martin Luther King Memorial is made difficult to reach, relegating it, you might say, to the back of the bus. Not very nice.

It's not very nice to be a punk liar. It's the reTHUGlican Potty which is squeezing government and the people to try to eliminate health care coverage for all Americans.

Can it GET more insane? How do you defend these loons if you're not one yourself??

Irrelevant: honest arguments have nothing to do with ReTHUGlicanism.

He's not a particularly good President, no. He's just better than your former Dear Leader Bush, worst President of the last 100 years.
