Great analysis! I am black and I grew up in the South. I live in NYC now, and I am one of the Northeastern liberals -- but I have southern roots. That's Obama's problem. He has surrounded himself with people who have no connection to the heartland, and unlike most blacks in the US he has no southern connection. Yes, there is racism, but I would have never disrespected church-goers, even though I only go to church for weddings and funerals. Even black southern church-goers were offended by those statements. Anyway, Obama is beholden to the white liberal elite (not blacks) who direct his campaign. They despise centrist politics -- even though this is the best strategic option for the Dems. Apparently, they would rather lost year after year, than get in on a centrist platform and work to get more liberal things accomplished. Bush got in being a moderate and went to the extreme right in terms of war and liberties. The Dems are afraid to do anything successful. I guess it's not in our nature. OBAMA WILL LOSE... |

2 Given Chicago's demographics, you should have black mayors. Why do the Dalyeys dominate Chicago politics? The city is not known for have "clean" politics. yes, Illin is a good "liberal" state, but when you look at social inequality in the big cities and the white flight to the suburbs, it actually looks worse than the South. The Chicago school system is one of the most segregated in the nation, and its predominately black schools are riddled with problems. So before people ridicule the South, they should look at themselves. |

1 Not all women support Hillary Clinton. Not all Republicans are racist. Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans, Muslims, little people, disabled people and a whole lot of other people in this country have nobody at all to vote for using the logic (or illogic) of those who insist on stereotyping. Some people think Hillary Clinton is the best candidate, some Obama, some McCain. That's why we vote. |

The color of ones skin does not matter, what matters is that he is the most liberal democrat since McGovern. He is to radical. He must be stopped. If he was C. Powell or a moderate democrat then this would not be an issue but he wants to socialize this country and take away to many American rights and that is not right. |

Very true. I agree. |

Very Very true. The warmonger McCain and unsubstantiated presidential affirmative action(Obama) are no match for Hillary Clinton, qua moderation, realism achievable goals, hard work for people, in touch with people and real issues. 8 years of right wing policies with nothing to show for by Bush-McCain administration is enough. An extreme leftist policy initiatives of Obama are also not good enough. Hillary is the best and safest bet. She is an all American hard working self made woman who doesn’t go around flaunting her education, who doesn’t go around ridiculing the hard working people by labelling them as “bitter” like Obama does. I think Obama’s “sweetie” talk should not prevail. He is a joke(too soft to be a president) Go Working Class America, Go Hillary Clinton, Go Kentucky, Puerto Rico and Oregon. Show the people with gold spoon in their mouth what your work/vote is worth. |

Prehaps the extra states in Illinois Senator Barack Obama's imagined 57 state USA have inserted themselves between Illinois and Kentucky? Is it any mystery the people of Kentucky have decided Obama doesn't know anything about them and hasn't bothered to find out?
From taylormarsh.com : "(Obama) goes on: “I think whoever the Democratic [nominee] is we’re going to have some work to do in a state like Kentucky,” Obama said. Well, you will have a lot of work to do in Kentucky, Barack. And if you're writing it off to Hillary now, why should anyone believe you will actually contest it against McCain later? But even all this doesn't compare to this doozy: "What it says is that I'm not very well known in that part of the country," Obama said. "Sen. Clinton, I think, is much better known, coming from a nearby state of Arkansas. So it's not surprising that she would have an advantage in some of those states in the middle." No, this is not a made-up quote from The Onion. He actually believes this, apparently. Problem is, a quick glance at a U.S. map reveals that Illinois actually borders Kentucky and is clearly closer than Arkansas. Illinois is also closer to West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Obama has been scaring me with these frankly Bushian statements for months, and this one is a whooper." |

Her latest tricks for her rabid blogging suporters because she is getting little coverage from Media:
Clinton is maning an all out effort to confuse the low knowledge voter about obama...and is getting little coverage for her outrageous claims from MSM or Cable so she has turned to the bloggers with this on Friday... "But by confusing the facts and casting doubt on his legitimacy, she can encourage resentment among her supporters that will persist even if she drops out after June 4 and endorses Obama. If they feel that she was pushed out illegitimately, at least some of her supporters may decide to sit it out or vote for McCain in hopes of giving her another chance in 2012. In addition to creating questions about Obama's legitimacy as the nominee, she played the gender card yet again last night. She said that she "deeply regrets the vitriol and the mean-spiritedness and the terrible insults and rhetoric that has been thrown around at you for supporting me, at women in general, at many of those who support my campaign because of who they are and their stand based on principle." This is not the first time she has claimed that she is being treated differently because of her gender, and it appears to encourage women who feel she has been mistreated because she is a woman to keep feeling that way. This, like the talking points designed to cloud Obama's legitimacy in terms of the math, could be part of a strategy to fan the flames of resentment among her supporters, particularly women. Yes, she may bow out gracefully after the primaries are over, but she wants to make sure her supporters are as disappointed and even angry when she does. She appears to want them to feel that she was wronged, making it harder for them to turn around and support Obama. She'll bow out eventually and give a speech that will probably tug at people's heartstrings and make them wistful, with some people perhaps hoping that she gets another chance in 4 years." |

Kentucky LEANS toward Clinton? I think a 28% Real Clear Politics average in favor of Clinton goes way, way beyond leaning.
