The End of Obama's Brotherhood Crush

There are 432 comments on the unitycoalitionforisrael.org story from Jul 5, 2013, titled The End of Obama's Brotherhood Crush. In it, unitycoalitionforisrael.org reports that:

The end of the Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt is a blow to the cause of radical Islam. The rise of the Brotherhood and the now deposed President Mohamed Morsi was a disaster for Egypt as well as for the West ...

The even better news is that the Egyptian Army didn’t listen to the Obama administration when it asked them not to launch what is, for all intents and purposes, a military coup that toppled a democratically elected government ...

I see no leadership in Egypt. Morsi blew it. That is true. The last thing he n4eeded to do was make war against the legitimate government in Syria. Egyptians know this. Thus, he undermined his own legitimacy. But who is to replace him? The liberals? I do not think so. The majority has already shown that they prefer an Islamic based constitution. But the liberals have also failed in as much as they have failed to understand the true aspirations of Egyptians. Thus, we see no "road map" from the liberals and no "road map" from the Brotherhood. Now what?
The army is more correct than anybody. But military rule is all that Egypt has ever had since the Revolution of '56. But the army has failed too. What we really see is that the CIA has been filling the void left by a lack of leadership in Egypt. The Army failed to popularize the Abd al Nasser revolution. The peace treaty with israel thus came to fill the void. But that has also failed. The only positive benefit to Egypt and to Africa has been military aid. If we do not get more than that, the revolution will be a long and ugly process.
The first thing any leadership must do is gut that stupid peace treaty. I have always had doubts about it. What a smart leadership would do would be to keep it in place in name only. But at the same time, a smart leadership would focus on the aspirations of Egyptians no matter what. Egypt needs to stop being blackmailed by zionists.
Stop oppressing Gaza. There is nothing in the letter of the treaty that requires Egypt tpo do such stupid things as flood the tunnels under the border. The treaty does not require Egypt to build walls along the Gaza border. Egyptians know this. Africa knows it. But Egypt has allowed itself to be blackmailed into oppressing Gaza to please israel. Stop doing that.
Egypt has great economic potential. Increase trade with Africa. Do development projects. Come closer to Africa. Integrate with Africa. Do business in Asia. Forget Europe and the white man.
Start with your head screwed on right and go from their. Egypt is in Africa. Egypt's future is closer commercial ties to Asia. Develop ties in Latin America and especially in the Caribbean. Stop giving a hoot about israel and the white man. Pan-Africanism of the Qaddafi flavor is key.
And remember that liberalism will not solve any problems. It will cause new ones. Islam is the solution.
Thanks for the babble. If the army was controlled by the US this
revolt could not have happened, as Obama has supported the Muslim
Brotherhood and consistently snubbed Israel.

Apart from overt racism your economic recipe is delusional. Do
you believe African nations would honor their debts to Egypt?
What does Egypt have to offer to the rest of the world as real
trade? Nada! Nothing!

You have already blown your best hope for economic recovery
when you destroyed tourism and put women at risk for their lives.
I for one once harbored a hope to go there someday .... but no
longer. At least not until the Islamic movement is snubbed out
by whoever is in power.

Do trade with Asia???? What have you got to sell that Asia wants?

Goodbye, dreamer!

Egypt is faced with a simple choice: secular rule
exemplified by a hundred other nations or the
barbarity of radical Islam. The latter will only
isolate it and put it on par with North Korea in
the eyes of the world.

Do you condone the raping of women now so prevalent

it is the only way for them to express their manhood?

Egypt has no need to worry about "the eyes of the world" especially not the white man's western Christian world. Egypt is a Muslim country and has every right to live under Islamic values and ideals. That includes living under a constitution based on and derived from The Quran and Hadith. This is for Egyptians to decide not aliens like you. In fact, the Egyptians have already decided they want an Islamic Republic. The only problem has been Morsi mistaking an Islamic Republic with closing the Gaza border and engaging in sectarianism in Syria. Now that that issue seems to be in past, you can be sure that the people will demand a return to the Islamic Constitution, like it or not. Even the army has called for amendments but not repeal of the Islamic Constitution. Thus, it seems that the Islamic Republic ideal is almost universally accepted in Egypt.

There are other countries to compare Egypt to. Iran has a large non-Muslim minority. But the Islamic constitution protects them even to the point of guaranteeing their representation at all levels of government. For example, Jews in Iran, have government posts reserved for them. Egypt could do similarly by reserving posts for the Christians in Parliament and the administration.

Another country to compare would be Pakistan and Bangladesh. Minorities have always been protected under Islamic Law. The Constitution of Medina written by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) protected the Jewish minority.( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_of_... ) That was the first constitution in history. So all other constitutions including the USA constitution have been inspired by it and at least partially copied from it. In order words, Islam taught the white man the meaning of democracy.

The history of the treatment of Christians, Jews, and other
non-Muslim minorities in Islamic countries is abysmal. Get
out your Islamic bubble and refute the abuse and violation of
human rights in your blessed Islamic states. Your blessed
brothers are gang-raping women in Egypt as we post here. Your
blessed Muslims beheaded a Catholic priest in Syria last week.
Your blessed Muslims in Egypt have killed their own because
they were Coptic Christians. You are a liar to pretend it is
safe to be non-Muslim in your Islamic sandbox.

Incidentally, your claim that the US Constitution is based in
any part by a piece of Muslim papyrus is bogus. You need to
read actual history like the biographies of Jefferson, Adams,
Madison, and others to learn where the Constitution in the US
came from.

I don't care if Egypt chooses an Islamic-based Constitution.
The world will simply avoid the place and let it dry up in
the sand. What will happen is the genocide of Coptic
Christians, Jews, non-Coptic Christians, and members of any
faith except the pedophile-based Muslim religion.

The only cowardly thugs I see are these PRO mubarak and ANTI democracy SCUM who are trying to hijack the country - IN VAIN. lol They must have seen that retarded zionist-puppet mubarak get sentenced to a very LONG prison term, for his role in the death of protestors, IN COURT whilst behind a CAGE drooling from a hopital bed XD

=====> The 'interim' president is a mubarak-era Judge... need I say more? YOU are NOTHING but a low-life hypocrite if you support Mubarak and his deranged bloodthirsty cult followers!!!!

A LOT OF AMERICANS DID NOT LIKE BUSH & MANY OTHER PRESIDENTS BEFORE HIM!!!!!!!! Did they put all of them in prision? Did they change leadership by force?? NO because one doesn't pick and choose when to apply democracy. If you don't like the president you wait to vote him out, there is no other way.

The majority of egyptians VOTED Morsi into power & if you really want democracy for Egypt, he MUST to be allowed to serve his full term.

Every country has civil war.

How much do you know about somalia prior to the civil war? Lol Go to WIKI or use google and find out what Somalia did for africa!!

When South africa was under Apartheid - Which country really stood up to support the ANC? Who invited then to speak at the OAU? Who trained the rebels on there soil and gave them there own passports so they can study abroad and get recognition? Who gave them money, weapons, & naval assets?

Answer: SOMALIA SOMALI SOMALIA SOMALIA...

(Click Modern | Then scroll)
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_histo...

Do you know Somalia used to have the largest army in Africa? And that it still has the Longest runway in the continent? That it also has the Longest coastline in Africa? HUGE untapped oil reserves, uranium, and other minerals?

Somalia didn't self destruct. Ethiopia and Kenya where sending weapons to all sides of the conflict and where keeping the war going. Thats all in the past though - Somalia's Gov, Army, Intelligence, Special forces (alpha group, Institutions, etc are back.

When we tap that Oil - a nation of just 10 million people is going to prosper and leap frog over all other countries.
