"A Sister" you are not dealing with reality. I was on a jury half black, half white, the Judge was black, and even the three baliffs were black. One of the worst laws ever passed was affirmative action. Some of the biggest companies in the U.S. are owned by minorities. Wake Up!

Rezasantorini wrote: <quoted text> If you think whites own all the business, ist on every court system, and make all the final decisions then you do not know realitiy. I live in Chicago and I know that is not true... I think a great example is the fact is Todd Stroger who did not deserve the position his father earned and has not lived up to it. He has hurt Chicago and really done an injustice to all of us, but blacks support him because he is black. We do not support our governor because he is white... My comment is intended to illustrate the contrast between the amount of blacks in high places as opposed to whites in high places. I am not saying that blacks are not in positions of power or not in positions to make decisions, what I am saying is that blacks are largley outnumbered by whites in positions of power in this country. New York State has a black Govenor, New Jersey has had nothing but black Mayors, now your saying Chicago. Those are only 3 states out of the entire country.

Affirmative Action is not a law, Affirmative Action is a "term" used that govern's laws against discrimination.

"A Sister" you are splitting hairs. Tell all the companies that have had to promote, or hire minorities based on affirmative action. These are unqualified people being put into positions because they are black, or hispanic. Not because they are qualified for the job.
