Read her thesis, what an insight.Barry and his wife hate America. Need I say more.
They will sell this country to the first crack smoking terrorist they meet.
Some of you make fun of Bush's oratory (he has a medical condition). Barry on the other hand can't even say names of states (i.e., MA). He still says AKS instead of ASK.
We do not need people who hate America to go anywhere close to Washington.

What the "outraged" Democrats and mainstream media are completely ignoring in Bush's "appeasement" words used in yesterday's Knesset speech is that they addressed concerns originally raised by Ariel Sharon.
Shortly after the 9/11 attacks, then Israeli Prime Minister Sharon warned the United States not to "appease the Arabs at [Israel's] expense." Sharon made reference to the catastrophic consequences of European democracies appeasing Hitler prior to World War II, specifically citing the Munich Pact of 1938 which ceded Czechoslovakia's Sudetenland to Germany: ''Don't repeat the terrible mistakes of 1938, when the enlightened democracies in Europe decided to sacrifice Czechoslovakia for a comfortable, temporary solution.[Israel] will not be Czechoslovakia.'' In fact, quite early in yesterday's speech - and well before making the Hitler comparison -- the president honored the former prime minister, who now lies hospitalized in a persistent vegetative state: "My only regret is that one of Israel's greatest leaders is not here to share the moment. He is a warrior for the ages, a man of peace, and a dear friend. The prayers of all Americans are with Ariel Sharon." So all spin aside, not only did Bush reassure the Israeli legislature of our unwavering commitment to the Jewish state, he respectfully addressed Sharon's concerns that "appeasement" might threaten its very survival in doing so. Yet the feigned outrage from Obama -- it is he, not Bush, who has politicized the issue -- and other Dems over both the Nazi comparison and talk of those who "believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals" was as resounding as it was immediate. As were their claims that including such in a speech to the Knesset on the 60th anniversary of Israel's independence was somehow inopportune. When in fact both the sentiment and the timing could not have been more appropriate. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2008/05/b... |

In an interview with New York Times columnist David Brooks , Barack Obama was asked about the statement he released regarding the situation in Lebanon. Specifically this statement was in issue:
all those who have influence with Hezbollah must press them to stand down immediately. It's time to engage in diplomatic efforts to help build a new Lebanese consensus that focuses on electoral reform, an end to the current corrupt patronage system, and the development of the economy that provides for a fair distribution of services, opportunities and employment. This statement was met with criticism for flying in the face of reality, for having a surreal air about it especially when that air was already filled with smoke from the ravages of Hezbollah attacks against the Lebanese government and the Sunni and Christian communities. His solutions seemed more akin to suggestions offered in civics and good government courses rather than geopolitcal and strategy courses. Brooks gave him an opportunity to undo some of the political damage (amazing how the media always allows Barack Obama to have makeovers when his statements cause him political problems) by expanding on his previously issued statement. He stated that Hezbollah is not a legitimate political party (despite holding seats in the Lebanese Parliament-a fact that he does not acknowledge) and offered further commentary through Brooks: I asked him what he meant with all this emphasis on electoral and patronage reform. He said the U.S. should help the Lebanese government deliver better services to the Shiites "to peel support away from Hezbollah" and encourage the local populace to "view them as an oppressive force." The U.S. should "find a mechanism whereby the disaffected have an effective outlet for their grievances, which assures them they are getting social services." The U.S. needs a foreign policy that "looks at the root causes of problems and dangers." Obama compared Hezbollah to Hamas. Both need to be compelled to understand that "they're going down a blind alley with violence that weakens their legitimate claims." He knows these movements aren't going away anytime soon ("Those missiles aren't going to dissolve"), but "if they decide to shift, we're going to recognize that. That's an evolution that should be recognized." One wishes that Barack Obama had gone further and articulated what aims he feels Hezbollah and Hamas hold that he considers legitimate? What legitimate goals does Hamas have? They were given Gaza and the chance existed for them to develop the land and help their people. Instead they turned it into a terror base: killing opponents, killing Christians, brainwashign their children to hate, launching thousands of missiles into Israel. Having been given Gaza what additional aims would Senator Obama consider legitimate? The release of terrorists from Israeli jails, the movement of millions of Palestinians into Israel, the destruction of Israel, the killing of Jews and Christians around the world? Both organizations were founded and have as their principal aim the destruction of Israel. Their charters-especially so in the case of Hamas-talk about the killing of Jews and Christians around the world. They are fiercely anti-American and filled with religious extremism. Are those legitimate aims? After all, appeasers in Europe-particularly in England-justified their approaches towards Adolf Hitler by agreeing that he also had legitimate claims (on territorial and World War One reparations). By granting credibility to these terror groups-and to at least some of their aims-does he enhance their status , power and obduracy going forward? Those are questions one wishes David Brooks had asked. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/ |

Obama slamed by President Bush was the proverbial "pot calling the kettle black"...~~~~~~~
How “Bush's Grandfather Helped Hitler's Rise to Power”~~~~~~~~ Rumours of a link between the US first family and the Nazi war machine have circulated for decades. Now the Guardian can reveal how repercussions of events that culminated in action under the Trading with the Enemy Act are still being felt by today's president ~~~~~~~~ Ben Aris in Berlin and Duncan Campbell in Washington ~~~~~ The Guardian,~~~~~~ Saturday September 25 2004 ~~~~~~ Article history ~~~~~~ About this article ~~~~~~~~ Close ~~~~~~~~~~ This article appeared in the Guardian on Saturday September 25 2004.~~ It was last updated at 23:59 on September 24 2004.~~~~~~~~~ George Bush's grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.~~~~ The Guardian has obtained confirmation from newly discovered files in the US National Archives that a firm of which Prescott Bush was a director was involved with the financial architects of Nazism.~~~~~~~~ His business dealings, which continued until his company's assets were seized in 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act, has led more than 60 years later to a civil action for damages being brought in Germany against the Bush family by two former slave labourers at Auschwitz and to a hum of pre-election controversy.~~~~~~~~~ The evidence has also prompted one former US Nazi war crimes prosecutor to argue that the late senator's action should have been grounds for prosecution for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.~~~~~~~~~ The debate over Prescott Bush's behaviour has been bubbling under the surface for some time. There has been a steady internet chatter about the "Bush/Nazi" connection, much of it inaccurate and unfair. But the new documents, many of which were only declassified last year, show that even after America had entered the war and when there was already significant information about the Nazis' plans and policies, he worked for and profited from companies closely involved with the very German businesses that financed Hitler's rise to power. It has also been suggested that the money he made from these dealings helped to establish the Bush family fortune and set up its political dynasty ~~~~~~~~~~ There are a number of articles on the web regarding Grandfather Bush's' Hitler connection. I have no confirmation of evidence but the situation is thought. provoking.~~~~~~~~~ A video explaining Bush's Grandfather Prescott Bush and his Nazi WWII affiliation.~~~~~~~~~ http://www.youtube.com/watch... ~~~~~~~~~~Obama for President! |

If Obama reacts to this little speech just imagine how he will handle a really crisis! I hate to think that! A leader always, remains cool, calm, and collected. He has shown that he can not.

You people kill me. It's an ELECTION YEAR and Obama is running for the highest office in the land. Kerry thought that the swift boat campaign was such a blatant lie that it didn't even deserve comment and it lost him the election. Mud will be slung. Rhetoric will be high. Period.
Oh wait, if Obama does it that's "different"... |
How is it possible that a state can have it wrong on a much larger scale than Washington? That doesn’t even make sense. |

Take of your shades. |

Pres. Bush didn't call anyone an appeaser by name so why are the dems so upset? Because they are appeasers?
How is it inappropriate to discuss the dangers of appeasement to a group that so well understands those dangers like Israel's parliament? The democrats and their supporters can't see how silly they sound? Hey I'm not happy with many things that Pres. Bush has done but this isn't even worth a democrat comment unless they really are appeasers and don't like the title. |

Someone should tell Barry that the world doesn't revolve around him.
And didn't Nancy Pelosi, SPEAKER, embarrass women throughout the Western world when she donned a veil when visiting the Mideast. We are supposed to accept the veil and burqua at workplaces because it is a religious statement. If so, then why should a Catholic American government figure don a veil worn by Muslims???? Pray tell! |
