Carter STARTED the housing bubble and CLINTON double down on it!! Democrats were warned and did nothing! You cannot force banks to make loans to people that cannot pay them back PERIOD!! Trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see!! REALLY!! And you say NOTHING!! WHO HAS BEEN IN CHARGE FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS!! WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO HOLD OBAMA RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS ACTIONS? YOU ARE STILL BLAMING BUSH AND HE LEFT OFFICE 5 YEARS AGO! We have recovered from worst situations quicker then what we are doing now.
I thought we were comparing. I hold Obama to a much stricter level than probably most of the people here. Its why i would never vote for 99% of dems. But i also would never vote for 99% of Repubs either. My #1 issue is civil liberties and both parties are worthless when it comes to that.

Carter started the housing bubble, what did the repubs do since then to fix it? Oh, nothing...

Bush runs up huge deficits but did the repubs once hold a debt limit hostage? Did they curb Bush's spending? Of course not, you didnt hold him responsible. Then a black man comes to office and all of a sudden its a HUGE problem. Pretty hypocritial dont you think? But that still wont stop you from bitching about "them" now even though "your" side did the exact same thing when you were in power.

And can you tell me when a worse situation was? When were we losing that many jobs a month? You need to face it that you side under BUSH helped create this mess so you can bitch all you want about holding people "responsible".

The thing about hating both parties is you can see the hypocrasy of both sides much easier.

Democrats controlled the House for 40 years!

Everything you complain about can be summed up in one sentence. GDP/debt ratio has been in balance UNTIL OBAMA TOOK OFFICE!!
Since then, trillion dollar deficits, no budgets passed, Obama can't get his budget through a DEMOCRAT CONTROLLED SENATE! PRINTING $85 BILLION A MONTH TO GO TO WALL STREET. I thought Democrats did not like trickle down economics, they are doing great with QE!!

Democrats lost the House in '94. The first time in over 40 years. Since then it has bounced back and forth. I agree spending was bad from '01-'06 but Democrats took over again '07 to 10 and spending went haywire!! Why do you think they lost it! Don't forget Clinton, if we had a surplus and was paying down the debt why was he still borrowing $500 million a month to fund the govt? Projected surplus ISN'T money in hand surplus!!

From Sen. Obama’s Floor Speech, March 20, 2006:

The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies.… Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better

How much was spent on the war? Does it equate to the $85 billion a month Obama has been printing for years to prop up Wall Street? You didn't like GW approach to foreign policies but is Obama's way working out any better?

Expert's have estimated $4-$5 Trillion Dollars plus extended care for wounded....GW charged the wars, off the books, so there are no recorded costs.......DO YOU KNOW, how many dollars our 5-6 U.S. Mints normally print a month?....I hope so, otherwise your complaint is silly....

Continuing to effectively print $85 billion per month of new money after months of telegraphing at least a modicum of reduction can only translate that our economy is frail and infirm, languid if you will.

This has been going on for how many years?

So then....are you admitting, you have no idea how much money is normally printed by our U.S. Mints?.....You just know 85 billion is too much?.....BTW, That is a great article in Forbes about President Obama being the smallest presidential spender, since Eisenhower....You probably missed that?

Please refresh my memory! Printing $85 billion a month to go the Wall Street!! How much longer can we keep this up? I thought Democrats did not believe in the trickle down theory? Which is what QE has turned into!
