U.S. struggles to get Israel, Palestinians to talks

The Obama administration sought Friday to direct Israel and the Palestinians back toward direct peace talks, even as the two sides and much of the world seemed to be ignoring the U.S. attempts at leadership on a Mideast peace strategy.

Some reasons US needs Israel as its staunch ally:
A. It’s the only democracy in the Arab sewer region known as the Middle East
B. It shares boots on the ground Intel with the US Intelligence
C. 60% of Israel's Jews have originated from Arab countries look Arab, and speak fluent Arabic its spies can penetrate where no US spy can
D. Israel took out Saddam's nuclear reactor saving thousands of US GI lives during Desert Storm.
E. When the US needed Intel on a new Russian made radar, Israeli commandos raided Shadwan Island, killing the Egyptian garrison and airlifted the whole radar station to US Intelligence.
F. Recently the Mayor of Los Angeles accompanied LAPD officers to Israel where they were trained by Israel anti-terrorism experts to better protect US citizens
G. Recently Israel formed an military alliance with Canada, Cyprus, and several major African nations, and soon will form an alliance with Vietnam.

The anti-Israel whiners should do some soul searching to try and see what their problem is. Whatever the reason for their personal phobia, psychosis or political reasons they may have it is of no consequence or importance. Israel is very important to the US and it is in our national interest to keep it strong as our ally.

Forgot to add Israel repeatedly attacked the USS Liberty in International Waters in 1967, killing almost 40 American military and civilians and wounding another 150. Claimed it was an accident, despite the ship flying the Stars and Stripes.
D is totally false. The reactor was attacked 20 years before the Gulf War and Saddam never reconstituted the programme in any significant way. So this attack by Israel saved thousands of American lives 20 years later how? Bush l Chit the second claimed Saddam had WMDs later on and was a dire threat to the world and could launch and attack on America within 45 minutes at any time. Yet, not a single WMD was found after the invasion and subsequent occupation, only evidence found was there had not been any WMDs, UN had cleared them out and been destroyed, just like the Iraqi government had been saying all along.
Not saying the world is not better off without Saddam but admittedly the region was much more stable with him keeping Iran in check.

Most Israelis immigrants come and came from Europe and of course the majority came from USSR, after the Israelis sold or traded what they learned from Johnathon Pollard, the American traitor and Israelis spy, in the late 80s and the Israelis used the Soviet Jews to populate the Arab land they stole in the war they started in 1967.

That is why the lands around Gaza are almost entirely populated by Soviet immigrants.
