It has been said for so very long that this man was gay. Alot of our problems come from the fact that we as Christians play "Let's Pretend" with our lives, our families and especially ourselves; denying the existence of anything upsetting. If an elder would have given him some Godly counsel and made him accountable as opposed to being blinded by his "stardom", the brother could have been helped. Remember, God tells us to be like him and he says that he chastens those that he loves. Assessment is not judgement and love does cover a multitude of sin, but not if it is unconfessed, hidden and pretended away.

The comments here make it sound like Hez is a child molestor or something. If he has been involved in a secret life of homosexuality, maybe its because of how homophobic we Christians are. The only person who has a right to complain or say anything negative is this man's wife and the problem then is not just that he has been involved in homosexual activities, but that he was unfaithful in the first place.

A lot of this downlow stuff, that's not new in the first place, could be prevented if we could allow people to be who they are and let God do His job, which is to judge.

If we allow people to be who THEY want to be then we are not doing the job that Jesus has intrusted us to do. We are to be the people that God wants us to be, which means it's His will and His way, not our own. So it's not our place to judge Mr. Walker, be we should hold him accountable as our brother in Christ.

My prayers go out to GOD for hezekia, I know of his type struggle I suffer from sex addiction, and I am a Christian however my preference is "NOT MEN" its women as GOD intended. I also neither of us is with out some kind of sin, there is no scale to wy the sins that we committ only GOD can judge. My prayer is that the rest of us trust and just keep trusting knowing that GOD is able.

it's amazing to me how that news about christian singers groups and whatnots always seems to be hidden or not talked about in secular and christian circles!!!!i remember not too long ago when i first heard about marvin and vickie winans divorce.you didnt hear much about it like someone was trying to cover up this story.now here it is again with hezekiah walker.if these things are so they need to be spoken from the rooftops and cried aloud.this man not only sung but preached this gospel that he should be living only to find out he was commiting sin and covering up this thing.when our so called"stars of gospel music"are doing wrong....they should be exposed just like anyone else that commit such things.yes they will be forgiven but they should not actively be in the ministry and preaching and singing the gospel until they get deliverence.no way can they or should they be on the pulpit or stage proclaiming God's goodness until they get the help they need from God themselves!!!!!

I'm not sure if this is true...and honestly, I'm not one that has been big on music (following people's past) in terms of keeping up with the gospel music industry. My husband and I do however have many of Hezekiah's Cds etc, and I beleive he is a gifted artist. One thing is for sure and I hope this is received in the right way. As other Christians, or those who beleive...we have to stop passing the mess and stop to pray. What if it were me or my name and my family plastered across every email outlet. The bible encourages us to lift each other in our down times. So whether this is true or not, let us who have enjoyed his music and been inspired, or let us who have our own personal struggles that just have not been uncovered in this manner pray for Hezekiah Walker, his family, his churches, the congregations and all whose eyes and ears will fall on this news. I do not condon homosexual behavior, neither am I God. Let us also be mindful of the scripture "he who is without sin pass the first stone." Maybe we can stop and take a look at our own skeletons and begin to clean up a little ourselves. The Christian community will now have more power as a result of this news...either we will respond by modeling Christ truthfully and hold up the blood stained banner, lest we fall into hypocrisy and judge Hezekiah. I hope the former is the choice. God bless you all. Be encouraged.

people have to realize that even when jesus was on earth people were saying untrue things about him. so maybe its just a rumor. we just have to hear the truth from him. in addition even today people are still trying to say things about jesus thats not true. homosexuality is a sin because it is in the bible and god forgives. we need to ask forgiveness and change before we live this earth. when the last days come when we stand infront of god to be judged we cannot say that we did not know.god is going to say heaven bound or hell bound.

We should each be praying for deliverance and reconciliation with Christ. Remember the words of Christ Jesus, "He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone" It is situations like this one where we as believers must band together in prayer for our brothers and sisters. IF...and I repeat, IF it is true then Hezekiah and his family (church and nuclear) should be on each of our lips when we go to God. Remember, this could just be another ploy that Satan is using to cause havoc. Don't fall into the traps by passing it...defeat the evil one by immediately praying for Hezekiah. Let us not forget that Hezekiah is still just a man and each of us is capable of sin. Our goal is to draw nearer to God, any true believers know that we fail each day in some way, yet is it the desire to get back up and look to the One who provides our strength...Elohim. May each of us keep this man uplifted in prayer

I was born in COGIC. I have since strayed because of the hypocrisy and the chastisement of individuals. And for those of you whom are not aware of what COGIC stands for here it is “Church of God In Christ”(Pentacostal)
I recall teachings from a scripture in the bible where Jesus in essence said “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone” The point is no one is without sin that is why we should on a daily basis perhaps hourly be on our knees praying to the Lord for the following forgiveness; love; understanding; inner peace because if we don’t have inner peace than we can try to make everyone miserable) lastly we need to ask the Lord to hold our tongues. Because that can commit a sin on a minute by minute basis. Hallelujer!!!
The point is we are all human and even Jesus had some trials and tribulations and he was the Son with more power than we.

If people are truly believers they need to let it go and let God. He’s the only one in the position to judge and guide. Yes, he can guide sinners too it happens every day..

My last point people is , who wrote the good book? Men and don’t we sometimes embellish the truth. Amen!
