Re: P-T snubs Benedict

Obviously Craig D. Newns can't get enough of seeing the Pope parading around in that outrageous costume with his unearthly hat and rebukes the P-T for not putting him on the front page. Am I the only one who is sick of seeing such "commercially self-promoting" behavior by God's main P.R. guy?

Right on Dode! I'm am so sick of seeing this so called self promoting man of God on every news channel. I'm glad the PT blew him off. It's ridculous the amount of media coverage he's getting. When does he leave? It couldn't be quick enough!

On the male side of the 'Fritz That's It' equation, I had almost exactly the same sentiment as Zoe and was sad to see it's sudden demise. Many of the dancers and customers were in and out over the 20 years I had been infrequently going, but it was always nice to see familiar, friendly faces (among other body parts).

It's puzzling that the P-T decided to "protect" pole-dancer Zoe Love's actual identity...Was there something unlawful going on related to her employment @ Fritz that's it? Is she a closeted LB State coed who'll suffer disdain if fellow students discover her down-low life? Maybe a desperate housewife with nosy neighbors, a no-good husband and hungry kids to feed? But it can't be the nature of her job...since surely she can go collect unemployment the same as any other laid-off worker, can't she? Will the EDD folks protect her identity as well? After all, she's not in danger the way she would be if her letter was critical of the Bush administration or taser-crazy cops. So...why the veil of secrecy?

Hey there "Seein the Lite" ,
First of all my letter was chopped like crazy and with only a smidgen of it published so, you do not have the full story.
No, I'm not a student..a housewife....with children or supporting anyone...I'm just a tax- paying-American-girl making a living. You can understand there are a lot of crazy mean people out there....so with that said I'm not or ever was ashamed of what I did, only protective of my privacy.Using "Zoe Love" was not a "vail" of anything it was how I was known.
Also dancers can not collect unemployment they are independent contractors!
Have a good one!

Hey, Zoe Love...Thx for the back-at-you, and I'm on your side...I just rememeber a time I sent the P-T a letter and asked to "remain anonymous" b/c it was critical of the CIA...guess I was lucky ... it didn't get chopped up...they didn't even publish it at all! But I remained anonymous...!

But it's a good thing you've got a "nom-de-plume," so to speak...the way city hall operates around here, if you'd used your real name they'd come knocking at your door demanding to see your business license! Hope there's a new job on the horizon for you soon...
