This walk is for the poor ba$tard$ ON the continent of Africa who are being butchered and starved while the UNITED NATION protectors stand around . Where is the reprobates from amnesty international and why aren't they picketting over there? WHY? Because the wonderful, humane, despotic leaders would either shoot them or throw them in prison. The candy a--es.

"with a crowd of about 250 fans to raise awareness of poverty and AIDS in Africa."
Why is it most celebrities won't fight these 'great fights' for their own country? We don't have poverty or people with AIDS in the United States of America? And those aren't the only fights to fight, but they choose not to push their 'celeb' or money out to the 'locals'. Hmmmm.

It's good that these fellows are showing this initiative for ANY cause, wether it is here or abroad. I applaud them and as for those negative comments in the previous posts re: the streets of A-town, apparently you haven't been here in a while. The streets are being cleaned daily by great folks! And maybe you should ask yourself, what cause are YOU standing for ? I myself am sponsoring a walk this Tuesday from CATCH 22 to City Hall to have a moment of silence to bring attention to the apparent racism that is simmering in the Lehigh Valley. Need proof ? Again look at the previous posts.

Skrew Africa, there are plenty of homeless/poor African Americans living here in Allentown, give them the money, OUR COUNTRY SHOULD COME FIRST, then maybe we can help Africa.

The Hanson's are gay and stupid, who the Fu(k walks barefoot on Hamilton Street? You could step on small pieces of broken crack pipes that cannot be seen with the naked eye!

Ok so a washed up bubblegum singer is walking for poor Africans?? What about people from AMERICA? I guess they don't count. Apparently his career is dead so this is the only way to get attention.

Nice. Notice that he's walking in broad daylight. Try that between the hours of 9pm - 5am. His butt would be MMMMmmm....bopped from New York Fshions to the VIP Barbershop. Allentown is a scary, scary place as of late. Hey, but at least Mayor Ed put cameras on the light poles to caputre all of the crime footage.

Listen here Alfonso. I am in Allentown every day and I know how it is. Open your eyes and look at the crime and drugs. Maybe your little walk from the DL to city hall should consider shortening a bit. I wouldnt want your people to get tired after half a block and walk home. Maybe the racisim in this world is a direct reflection of the crimes that are being committed. No body is going to take you all seriously if you are walking from the DL or what ever you people are calling it this week. Hanson stands for a better cause.

Interesting, MMMMMMM bop, but although you may BE in Allentown everyday, I LIVE in Allentown everyday. Also, it is NOT the length of the walk that matters, it is the REASON why we are DOING it. The walk is also not just for MY people but for ALL people experiencing racism/bias. If racism in the world was a direct reflection of crimes being committed then I don't think minorities would have a corner market on it. There are white collar crimes that have been commited that are more atrocious; And as far as me being taken seriously, I guess since it's not about ME, it never really mattered. A cause is a cause. I am standing for something and putting my actions behind my words. Can you say the same ?

And by the way people, walking on the ground barefoot outside does not cause AIDS... There aren't bloody needles and razors all over so get your facts straight.

And before I forget... I have lived in Allentown for 21 years and I have to say that you all are exaggerating with how horrible it is. Every center city of every large town has its issues. And as for Hanson, they were "Bubblegum" stars over ten years ago and have been doing amazing things as they grew up. They are all married with families and their maturity shows in their new sound. Grab the album and listen, then go see a show and then you will have the right to actually have an opinion. until then, don't run your mouth if you don't know. They also have their reasons as to why they are helping those in Africa, so if you get as lucky as I do to talk to them and hear why, you will understand.
