I agree with that-they took complete control of mtv...rock fans are being sent down the road to hide in caves and break out albums. It sickens me. They said that grandmaster flash was the one that started rap and hip hop-why couldnt he OD? PLEASE-its like disco-except it doesnt go away. Bummer deal. Anyway...what are we gonna do-we need some big bands again. Country has taken the hard rock stage away-mtv dont play any-hall of fame is hop of fame...and djs play most of the bars. Noone gets it anymore. Nobody wants some...LOL-anyway keep postin...I want to know theres something out there to look forward too!

Rock is dead.. It will never come back to the way it was. These young kids now a days have never had any rock bands to look up to. It's all hip hop and bullshit music. Record companies and MTV market to teenagers. Nobody gives a shit about true music or people with talent anymore. You just gotta have some hot chicks in your video and they play that shit for 10 months straight. I remember bands would put out albums every year. Imagine that today. That's what we need again.. Rap or "Crap" music needs to run it's course already for christ sakes. VH1 Classic anyone?

I agree. I think rock has died. There is a small foot hold but the majority of kids are acting like crack dealers and showing off their bling. Imagery started by the crack business...yeah isnt that COOL>>>Yo. sheeaaat. I am so sick of that beat your woman shoot your friend moronic ass crap. What made it worse is that they stole the term rock star-and they rap about being rock stars. WRONG>>> a rock star is sammy dave eddie mike alex...or an icon like clapton or the beatles. But NOT a GOD DAMN rapper. makes me ill. Had to vent
