That was the best TV series ever. I will be there. The only show even close is LOST, but I miss the edginess of the X Files.

Saw this last night. Was good. Nothing like the first, but was good seeing the two back in action.

Yes what a let down. To be honest with you...I didn't really care for the first movie either but it was better than this one. I sat in the theater today saying to myself, "can this please get better" "can we pick up the pace" "yeah we know it's skeptic scully and spooky mulder, now move on with the plot!!!"

I didn't like the X Files movie - the story was confusing and the editing was crappy so it was hard to follow. David is still hot and we do get the satisfaction of seeing them kiss, but that was it.

HUGELY disappointing... I know that in real life the term "you can never go home again" often rings true but heck this is the movies - they could have done a much better job in helping us all relive the old days. This movie just reinforced that those days are long gone and depressed the hell outta me. I even have doubts that they will follow up with another movie regarding the wholde 2012 invasion date....

Well, if 20th Century Fox was smart they would put the final "nail in the coffin" and be done with it. I'd rather remember the series for what it was then have this "sub-par" crap. But if you think about it...Fox "jumped the shark" when they moved it to LA from Canada. Then it really got bad when Mulder, then Scully, left. What a bloody shame.
Taking Mulder and Scully out of the FBI and all of it's resources is like taking Kirk and Spock out of the Enterprise or the Federation.:)

Is that confirmed? Only 10 million. I haven't seen or heard any of the receipts yet. Do you know how much it cost to make. It had to be at least 25 mill or a little more.
Can you say, "BURN!"

It is rather tough to take fellow citizen. Yes, they came in fourth behind step brothers and mamma mia. budget $35,000,000.

Step Brothers was funny. I was flip flopping on which of the 2 I wanted to see. I'm glad I chose the right one. Xfiles was never that great of a show in my opinion.

I saw it, and thought it was good. Not great, but good. If you want more X Files you need to show support and go see it.

Saw it, I liked it. Was a huge fan of the series, but even if I hadn't watched the series, I would have enjoyed the money.

I was entertained the whole time, and that was the point of the movie. There was also some deeper meaning if folks wanted to look into it.

Why should I support a show that has obiviously "jumped the shark?" This series has been going down hill since season 7 when Mulder then Scully faded away. They should have made this film better. I've already given Chris Carter and Fox enough time and money of mine.
