I am so glad to see some quality programming for TV, at last.

I would also love to see some of Colin Firth's lesser known early films, like 'A Month in the Country' or 'Another Country' being aired in U.S.

Who would have though that there was such a passion for British Period Drama in the US?
I'd like to take the opportunity to heartily recommend both "My Boy Jack", which has stunning performances from Dan Radcliffe and the excellent Kim Catrell, and Judi Dench's "Cranford", which in my opinion is the best piece of Period Drama the BBC has made for many a year.
Seriously, Cranford will make you laugh, cry and applaud in equal measure. Enjoy.

The overhaul of Masterpiece Theatre is brillant. I am enjoying Jane AustEn beyond belief, and can't wait for the next presentations. Anything with Judi Dench in it is a plus. I was waiting anxiously to see if Cranford would be presented in the US, and am so happy to see it included.

I would like to know where these locations are besides the actual house Jane lived in Hampshire---Particulary the Country House with Parklands and the Lake as well as the Green(?) room with the beautiful chandlier??

Oh let us not forget those clothes----especially the ones that the men wore-----which I think today would be preferably to that most useless and dangerous of menswear----the tie. Now in my day we did wear those but to dress appropriately was rather expensive.
