how did jennifer die

She and some of her friends were in a car accident. I know she died from it, but I'm not sure about her friends.

She died in San Marcos Texas, (she was 14).If I remember correctly, she was hit by a drunk driver.

It was a single car accident. "The date was June 25, 1986 in San Marcos Texas. Jenifer was riding with friends when the boy driving lost control of his ford mustang." She was only 13 years old.

Mindy, you have the correct answer. It was a single car accident. It happened on a street named Hunter Road. Jenifer was not wearing a seat belt and her window was open. The car turned too fast and it flipped over. She was the only casualty. Open window, not wearing a seatbelt and car overturned. I assume she was riding shotgun and the car made a hard and fast left turn. A vehicle gravitates to the opposite side of a turn. The car would have rolled over to the passenger side first. Open window and no seatbelt with the assist of gravity happening about two the three seconds. I think you should be able to figure the rest.
By the way, there was no alcohol involved and for who drove that car, may his identification remain a mystery. I am sure he as been given death threats such as "If I ever find out who he is, I will...... That should please the Strait family" It will do the opposite.Most likey it will infuriate them. Keep in mind they have the money and the emotional motive and any harm adminstered to that driver the criminal investigators will harass the Strait family. |

The boy was prosecuted by the county D.A. but was not convicted. George supported the young man saying that accidents happen and there was no malice involved.

Malice means that there was an intent to injure. The boy certainly didn't plan for the accident to happen.
