Country Music Hall of Famer George Jones , a master of sad country ballads whose voice held the bracing power, the sweetness and the burn of an evening's final pull from a bourbon bottle, has died after an illness that hospitalized him since April 18.

Well,Possum...the shows over...and the curtain has fallen...but...us PURE COUNTRY FANS will NEVER forget you...Now, when they call you *NO SHOW* they'll be crying....Us in Lakeland,Fl.,where you lived with Tammy, sooo many years ago still love ya!!!!...RIP George....

The King of Country Music the last 50 years had a Great Career. It is up to George Strait and Alan Jackson to continue the Real Country Music.
