The Beatles made their debut at the Cavern club, on Mathew Street in Liverpool. When they first took to the stage at the Cavern club on 9 February 1961 - 50 years ago today - they were a ragtag bunch of skinny Scousers looking for laughs.

They were young and playing for next to nothing who would of ever thought that would change 3 years later.They paid their dues and polished their skills and became the most famous rock band in history.The music of the Beatles lives on and still sells very well even now.
