Zack, it was Graeme Goble. LRB started off as "MISSIPPI" in the early '70's. they had a few changes to the line-up during both name changes.
You are right about Beeb and Rick, they were in a band called ZOOT. Glenn was with The Twilights and AXIOM (Brian Cadd- great songwriter).
The last lead singer before they broke up was our King of Pop - John Farnham, managed by their old mate Glenn Wheatley (ex-Master's Apprentices- check out their song on youtube- It's Because I Love You) I'll be here all week, LOL, there is so much history behind these bands. All great.
John Farnham has a great voice but I like Glen Shorrock better. The little River Band had a CD out a few years back With wayne Nelson the Bass player doing most of the singing. They still sound good but not as good as when Glen and Beeb and Graham Goble was with them.Wayne Nelson has a great voice i'll admit.

Yeah, a lot of people were surprised when John fronted LRB. He had been solo for too long.
John's later band had a fabulous group of musicians and back up singers, his career was revived once again.(The John Farnham Band)
As with any band losing one of the original members, it's never the same, and popular though John was, most LRB fans preferred Glenn.
Whatever the line-up they had numerous hit songs
and on stage were absolutely world class.

I liked them with John and I also liked them with Glen.I'm glad to hear John had success after Glen rejoined.John was good but the songs with Glen and wayne Nelson were better songs.I really like Night Owls and Lady so many good tunes from that band I also like TOTO a lot.

I don't know much about TOTO, but I know two of their songs "Rosanna" and "Africa". the Shadows did "Africa" nicely.(as they did everything)
