I find it appalling that Stanton Welch, an Australian, would include Christopher Bruce's "Swansong" in a recent progam of the Houston Ballet. "Swansong", which mocks the treatment of prisoners by soldiers was, I believe, rubbish. As a proud American citizen and Houston Ballet season ticket holder, I was offended. What would the world do without the American soldier! Perhaps, Mr. Bruce and Mr. Welch should take a tour of duty in the United States military instead of prancing around on a stage mocking soldiers?
