I remember the health problems Gary Coleman had as a kid. I remember thinking at the time his health wasn't going to be real good. It's sad that all of these kids except for one is now gone. It's like show business just threw them all out on their ear and never gave them another chance.

It was a con game from the beginning, Coleman was about 10 or 11 playing a five year old boy. He was very small for his age and got away with it but it was still a con. Not his fault, of course, since he was just a boy. He learned con from a young age. So sad.

What a SAD thing to say....He was a human being.....Just because he WAS in the spotlight at one time, doesn't make it right for people to make RUDE, and Unsypathetic comments....Have a HEART...R.I.P Gary

Celebrities tend to be objectified....after all, they made (and perhaps eventually lost) their fortune pretending. If in the public eye long enough they become an entity rather than a human being. Their notoriety is based on the superficial, and thus their real humanity is lost on us. The "rude" posters aren't really addressing the demise of a real person, but a figment of television.

I wonder if he had any money left, and if he did, who he left it to. Gary just never understood like so many others before him like Gilligan and Screech, you might as well embrace what made you famous. You're not going to be Dr. McDreamy. Gretchen Wilson made it big as the "Redneck Woman" and she's just figuring out after three years without a hit that kind of music is what listeners want to hear. They don't want to hear her sing ballads. Have fun with your fame, life is short.
