Did she say thanks to Gary so much? Is she finally acknowledging the part he played in making her successful?

He made her successful yes..BUT without HER Gary also would not have been successful. They were a GREAT TEAM for many years!
and NOW Amy and Vince are a great Team.

She finally has come out and has said she was too hard on her first husband.
She also says she does a lot of things that potentially make people want to yell. All the Absent-Minded Professor stuff. She says that she sang in churches and #2 sang in bars. Whose idea was it to go to Africa and

Other old stuff from her Gary days. She is missing him, no doubt.

Just laughing at you because you didn't realize that "Threaten Me With Heaven" is for Terry Chapman, grandfather to the three Chapman children and "Find What You're Looking For" is based on a saying that the mother of Gary's children remembers from Gary's mother, Mary Chapman.

I think the mother of Gary's children is desperately seeking redemption and even reconciliation on some level.

Sorry, but Amy just doesn't do it for me. There are too many great female voices out there.
I know she won't cry herself to sleep knowing that I didn't buy Simple Things or any of her hymn compilations. Ditto for her greatest hits and Somewhere Down the Road. When she released
Behind the Eyes, her music was still on cassette tapes. I don't have ANY of her music anymore.
I've never seen her Christmas Shows or in bookstores singing. How about you?

Amy has even figured it out. She has her own band and sometimes lets Jenny get some practice
singing and performing. They'll probably continue to do a few smarmy Christmas shows now and again. If you look at the video where Vince played a little live on Somewhere Down the Road, he acted so bored. He likes being the Main Event. So does Amy. I don't think they like sharing the spotlight.
