The sound at Lucas Oil Stadium was AWFUL - it is very disappointing to spend the money, gas & time for a concert & NOT be able to understand the words. The songs were bad enough to understand, but when they spoke, you couldn't understand a thing. We were up in section 637 --- I don't believe I will be attending another concert there - it is truly too bad. Very nice building - horrible accoustics.

The sound at Saturday's concert did improve some when the roof was opened. Overall, it was awful. Part of the fun of watching live acts is hearing their comments about the songs. We couldn't understand anything they had to say! Good thing I knew the words to the songs. We're glad we didn't spend big bucks on my tickets. We'll wait for improvement to attend another concert at Lucas Oil. It was great seeing all those Colts jerseys!

Have you went to any other concert to compare them to Lucas Oil? I've been to Cleveland, Cinci and soon I'll add Columbus to my list. We want to go to Lucas Oil Field in the future because we heard his last show blows away the others on his tour. Is that true? We are willing to spend the $$ for better seats, so sound isn't an issue.

Kenny Chesney's concert at Lucas Oil was great the sound was awful, but the company who puts his concerts together contacted us last year and has offered us free tickets this year to see him again no way could we pass this up. A good place to see him is in fort wayne, IN or Chicago, IL.

How the heck did you swing completely free tickets? I have never heard of such luck. Rock on and
enjoy your FREE concert.
Hope you have a better experience.
Are the freebies decent seats?

Seriously! I should of had some free tickets! I've seen Kenny Chesney on ever tour for the past 6 years and last year was the worst.(and go figure it was my last one cause I lost my job and can't find another one!) The concert was amazing when we stole the seats of some old couple who just couldn't take the lateness any longer, but that was just for the last 30 minutes. The rest of the time we were on the side a level up and you couldn't make out a single word! I've been to about 80 concerts all over the midwest and that was the worst sound quality I've ever heard!

Haha, anyone reads this and wants to give me free tickets feel free to send them on over!

I was on the field and the sound was fine for the whole show. I have a friend who works in guest relations at the stadium and she said they were moving people to lower seats that were available until they ran out. After that, people were just leaving. I guess when the roof was open the sound was much better in the upper levels. I would not sit in the 600 level at the stadium though.

Sound, especially the voices of the singers needs more improvements. It seemed from our seats in Section 229 that the drums and guitars were so loud that they drowned out the words of the singers, especially the girl performers-Miranda Lambert's voice & words were difficult to understand. Kenny was great as always, and overall we enjoyed the concert despite the poor voice quality and the overwhelming drums and guitars.
