The new face of Yankie Street
#1 Jun 3, 2011
My wife and I just bought a home in Silver City, and when we have out of town guests, we will take them first to Yankee
Street galleries. We carefully avoid those businesses which don't support activities that benefit our community. By the way, if you are wanting to sell property or know someone wanting to buy in Silver City, you cannot do any better than Sissy McAndrew as an agent. We have bought and sold several homes over the years, and Sissy is the best informed, hardworking one of the bunch. I found her to be knowledgeable and ethical.

Hi Max, and welcome to Silver City! I can't wait to meet you... I'm the MainStreet manager here in Silver City, and hopefully we'll run into each other downtown one of these days. Thank you for your positive comment, and for your support of our local small business community. There are a lot of really progressive merchants here who do an awful lot of amazing work.
(Oh, and a Silver City tip: Our Yankie Street was named after a town founder whose last name was Yankie, not the generic Yankee. Just mentioning a local quirk for future reference...)
