Disappointed is a mild term for what I will be if this is the last of Dr. Paul Weston and In Treatment. I may even need therapy myself due to separation anxiety. Great article with some wonderful quotes from the enigmatic Gabriel Byrne. He's a wonderful actor, and I just can't get enough of him. Let's hope HBO is as sauvy as they seem and that Season 2 of In Therapy will be available for a wider audience to discover and appreciate!

I was a bit bored with the Amy and Jake storyline, but was completely captivated by "Sophie" and the young lady who portrayed her. I cannot think of another actress who could have given a more perfect performance!

If HBO does not extend this series..they are blind. It is the most gripping, insightful, and REAL thing on television anywhere anytime.

There has to be another series of this incredible show. Gabriel Byrne is totally wonderful as Dr. Paul Weston - a marvelous character, flaws and all. The rest of the cast members are great - especially Sophie. The writing and directing is superb. I'm bereft - there has to be more.

I've watched every single episode of In Treatment. If I miss them on HBO, I get them from On Demand and will see several in a row and never get tired of them. I love the insight one gets into people and how they tick and the theraputic process. That must mean that the characters come alive in In Treatment. It also demystifies therapy for those who might consider it too, which is a good thing. I've never before been much of a GB fan, but now I am one, without a doubt. Great series. Wish the powers that be would do more of it. I think this series might just be a sleeper that would gain viewers over a bit more time.

My brother loves this series. I truly hope that they extend it for at least one more season. It's what makes HBO unique.

Not since The Sopranos has any of your shows made me want to see every episode. And thanks to VOD, I don't have to miss any; I have even watched some of them twice. This is an addictive show and I can't say enough about how it's captured my attention. It's therefore a big disappointment to not have this wonderful show continue past one season. The casting is as superb as the scripts and I can only imagine how hard these actors worked. Please HBO, try to bring it back!

What a terrible loss it would be for viewers (and potential viewers) if HBO decides not to air "In Treatment" for a second season. Gabriel Byrne was born to play Dr. Paul Weston, and the problems with which he and his patients grapple, are ones that the audience can identify with as well. This show is captivating; it possesses a truly addictive element and I personally admit that I have never been so completely engrossed in a television show - ever. If you share a similar view, I hope you will contact HBO and share your feedback on what a loss this would be. A show like this has never been before and may never be again. Please make your voice heard.

I had to watch every show (used my DVR), and I certainly hope that tonight's was not the end. It's great to see Dianne Wiest and Gabriel Byrne. Alex will be greatly missed; I hope Sophie returns. I was breathless throughout the Paul and Laura scenes tonight, but I am happy with the way it turned out. Amy and Jake were depressing, but very real. I think another season with Paul, Gina, and any or all of the other characters will be watched. I know the 5 shows per week might have turned some people off...but for those of us who tuned in, it was a great ride.
