Highly recommend "Starting Out In The Evening" to anyone who appreciates well developed characters, truthful, nuanced ensemble and individual performances and simple, human-scale production values. This movie was made on a shoestring in 18 days and is of the highest quality proving that special effects do not a work of art make. Frank Langella should have received an Oscar for his portrayal of Leonard Schiller.
