Red Flag To Fly Over White House

Full story: www.chuckbaldwinlive.com

Lest anyone doubt the communist leanings of President Barack Obama, look no further than to his decision to hoist the Red Chinese flag over the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, September 20.

Who are you that appears on my Yahoo home page? You are totally disgusting and I would like to eliminate your site if I could figure out how.
You are a bunch of weirdos from the fringe who want our country to fail.
But the good news is that I now am aware you are out there, and it is really scary to think you live in our country. Are you Klan folk?

This article is inaccurate at best, intentionally misleading at worst. The flag will not be flown on White House grounds, but across the street. However, foreign flags are flown over the White House when heads of state visit. President Bush (the younger) flew the Chinese flag over the White House around 2006.

Is this level of vitriol based on misinformation or is it motivated by something worse?

Update On Red Flag Report
By Chuck Baldwin
September 9, 2009

This column is archived at
http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/c2009/cbarchi...

Even as my column is being distributed today, the White House is reporting
that it will NOT fly China's flag on the South Lawn. Here is a link to a Fox
News report that was just sent to me. I am passing it on to my readers.

http://tinyurl.com/not-at-whitehouse

If it is true that the White House has decided to not fly the Red Flag over
the South Lawn, it is assuredly because of the outcry of thousands of
Americans opposed to it. You see, "We the people" can still make a
difference.

I will continue to monitor this story, and I encourage readers to do the
same.

This is one paranoid man's biased opinion.

It shows respect. Has nothing to do with our country going communist or letting China take over our government. It's showing friendship to an ally. Nothing more.

Red China doesn't deserve anyone's respect, let alone ours. Brave American soldiers gave their lives to keep us from being taken over by tyrants. Let's show them some respect by burning Communist China's flag.

Trust me, Darlin', you don't want to piss China off. Yes they are our ally and we depend on them for more than you will ever realize.

I am not for Communism but can set political differences aside and be friends with another country. We don't have to believe in the same things to do business.

You must be both young and Naive. Ask an Uncle or father or Grandfather that served in Korea or Vietnam. In Korea there was as many Chinese Communists Killing Americans as Koreans. I was held by them for three days when that spy plane of ours was forced down a few years ago . I Know their intents. They may have a booming economic structure but for every company there they have a communist party official monitoring every aspect. No they are not Allies. They could care less for Us as a Free Republic. They just need our trade to sell their Junk. Another point. I don't care who I piss off, I am an American fighting man who gave a career in facing down communists. I am still sworn to and will die that way. Yeah I live by the sword, under God..

I like the way you call the "dragon" , a DRAGON without trying to be politically correct.

There is a distinct difference in the values of the two countries.
The current marriage of economic compulsions is going to last..as long as it lasts. There will be a time , not too far away, when each nation will have to reassert its values and take the dragon (or whoever) by its tail.

No, I am not young nor naive. Just because we were at war with a country in the past doesn't mean things haven't changed.

There is no reason to hold the children accountable for their father's ways.

I love Chinese people and have many as friends. I don't let the past interfere with my future.

Unfortunately our country has already been inundated with "junk" from China. Look at the computer you are typing on - the plastic casing? Made in China. Your cell phone? Made in China. The tires on your vehicle? Made in China. The towels in your bathroom? Made in China. Your furniture? Made in China. Your television set? Made in China. Your kid's cool new toy? Made in China.

I could go on. The dam has already broken. Either we work with them or we let them take us over.

Check your designer labels. China makes many things and not just inexpensive dollar store items.

Sadly Pam, most people live in the past and never look towards the future...that is why we are doomed to repeat our ancestors mistakes, people never learn from history to solve their proplems, They rather use history as a stick to uphold there prejudices, sad but true.....

Yes you are right. I still hear old men saying ugly things about Yankees (people who live in the north) when that war was hundreds of years a go.

People need to learn to move ahead and stop dredging up old disagreements.

It is not always easy to please every one. If there are 12 donuts and 12 people in the room, common sense would tell you to collect the donuts and give one to each, or at least to make sure that at least each person will get at least a 1/4 of a donut.

But no, some people will want more than 2 donuts for themselves leaving none to many others. This is the case with health care in the US.

I think the South should have been let to seccede. So that every body would have been happy.

There will always be greedy people.

I doubt they would have been happy. Eventually they would have found something else to be discontent about.

No. Anyone north of the Mason Dixon county line is a Yankee. I am south of there so I'm considered in the south or the confederates. It's quite silly actually. For the most part it has to do with sports now days. I don't keep up with that sort of thing though.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Aquarius

The atmosphere in the office is stressful. Learn to divide time in a planned and phased manner. Beware of starting a lot of new things but not having the time to finish any of them. Mental overload will burn your busy and chaotic schedules and health problems may crop up all of a sudden. If you party with friends this evening, don't make it too late.
