Whiney a** American Mentality.
Our Parents and Grandparents did alright with the toys made in those days.
All this 'safety' is what will enslave us.

Sorry Garbage, but I cannot and will no blame the Chinese on this one. I blame the engineers. Fisher Price (an AMerican Co., BTW) should know better than to hire engineers who counterintuitively and idiotically design 'protruding' keys and screws, plastic or otherwise, into their product(s). What were they THINKING. They weren't. No, I blame our declining ed system along with numbskull profit blind FP marketers.

Remember when trykes were made of metal, and high chairs of wood? Seems to me, kids today are too soft.

Hot metal slides that ended in asphalt playgrounds. Now *those* were the days! Nowadays with these barely inclined plastic slides, kids get stuck halfway down them. Sue-happy people took all the fun away!

There is risk just getting out of bed in the morning! Recalling millions of items based on a few dozen incidents?

I think Society is too soft....always looking to find someone to blame an accident on.

You can't even service your own car anymore for fear that a malfunction could occur...like a bicyclist in the road. Do the crime do the time......we will all be felons one day.

It's what Rob Portman and John Kasich voted for when they were in Congress. Outsource our jobs and then send the junk back to the U.S. Ohio needs to outsource those two greedy corporate political millionaires right out of Ohio this Election!

Back then toys were made in the USA and lasted decades. My brother handed down the old Sears tricycle we used to ride as kids to his son.

(Of course that doesn't make much money for companies. They'd rather make crap in China for 10 cents on the dollar that breaks in a year so we have to buy more crap)
