You are kidding me...
A Different World
We were born to mothers who smoked and drank
Our cribs were covered in lead based paint
No child proof lids no seat belts in cars
Rode bikes with no helmets and still here we are, still here we are
We got daddy’s belt when we misbehaved
Had three TV channels you got up to change
No video games and no satellite
All we had were friends and they were outside, playin’ outside
It was a different life
When we were boys and girls
Not just a different time
It was a different world
School always started the same every day
The pledge of allegiance then someone would pray
Not every kid made the team when they tried
We got disappointed and that was all right, we turned out all right
No bottled water, we drank from a garden hose
And every Sunday, all the stores were closed
It was a different world

What ever happened to just dealing with life?
We all got bumps and bruises as kids but toys weren't recalled like this.
What? Is every toy or product for kids supposed to be smooth with no parts anywhere?
Parents, stop making your kids so pusified about everything.Tell and show them how to be careful with their things.Don't call and complain when little Johnny gets a scrape from his big wheel,it's part of life.

10 kids get hurt out of 7 million sold, thats nothing. you cant make everything idiot proof. a rubber ball hurts more than 10 kids annually, but they ain't recalling round rubber balls, are they? stupid parents won't take responsibility for their own kids. an accident is an accident, so stupid!

I agree with everyones post! The only reason they recall this stuff is so they dont get sued! If my baby got hurt on any of these toys for any of these reasons, the way the economy is going, and being laid off, I'm suing! So they do recalls for people like me!

"The U.S. Government today recalled 8 million miles of sidewalks from the nation's towns and cities. A government official said sidewalks, made of hard concrete, run the risk of injury to children if they fall down on them."
Will it come to this?
