i remember going to the old first baptist when i was a kid in the sixtie's. i remember waking up those cement step's out front to a beautiful church. i remember attending funeral's there. i remember when it was announced that the church would be torn down and a new one built behind it. i remember when wilbur evans was asked to say the closing prayer that sunday and he couldn't because that moment hurt him badly. i still remember.
