Everybody's had them. You have to make ends meet, so you turn your brain off and keep telling yourself, "You do what you gotta do." Yes, those crappy, dead-end, low-wage jobs sap your soul.

I totally agree. I have a crummy dead-end job right now. Been there for almost a year, and still the promise of fulltime and more hours keeps sidetracking me due to supervisor's family members and other people in key positions having their family members getting hired there After me, and yet getting fulltime hours. I am a huricane Katrina victim, and I looooong for the day when I can finally find me a fulltime job and a better one at that, so I can tell this one to kiss my rear end, and leave it!!!! I am suffering favoritism and harassment, and it keeps getting worse!
