He was rarely heard on radio in 1956/57 in the UK and Ireland.

We had to buy records, listen to him on jukeboxes and see his movies at the cinema.

All we need today is a Hollywood blockbuster on Elvis's early career. Say up to 1962.

Yes Elvis is assured a future simply because of the huge momentum he built up in his lifetime. An enormous achievement.

Frankie Laine after a 60 year or more career is slipping into oblivion.

Elementary my dearies.

Aye, an' we 'ad to walk fifty miles a day through th' snow to hear him, an' when we got back to 'ouse, Dad would beat us with a wooden mallet. An' we were grateful for th' privilege!

An' ya tell kids today that, an' they don't believe ya!

Infantile humour is soon spotted by discerning readers.

Canadian Trolls and other stalkers are also noted.

Mo..it's not hard to spot something not hidden.

This IS my hobby, I just don't take it as seriously as you do.

I'm not the one on here day after day year after year on a REGULAR basis. That's how seriously I take it.:-)

I use the place to advertise. Often it works for me.

The Elvis Grapevine serves my purpose.
