For a woman who claims to love Elvis so much, you can say the most revolting things about him. He didn't need to pack the house with disabled people. And he didn't "give them your seat". Elvis was a great humanitarian who loved all of his fans. Your comments are repulsive.

I didn't say HE did it. I assumed Parker was responsible.

And yes, he did give them my seat. We bought our tickets immediately when they went on sale. We should have been closer than we were, not in back of many rows of people who got free tickets.

At the risk of repeating myself, you have no sense of humanity Lee. You are a mean spirited, selfish woman. I would gladly give up a seat for someone in a wheelchair. I'm from the south where we believe in God, family, Elvis & fried chicken. But when it comes to helping others, we'd gladly give up a seat or a drumstick. You, crazy lady, need to wake up and see that your selfishness will get you no where.

And it made me mad that Parker did not have enough faith in Elvis' ability to fill the stadium.
Suck it up - move on - how many years ago was this???

She likes playing the underdog. It makes her feel important, special. Lee likes to say that she can have her own opinions and views and does not have to answer to [society]. Never mind that her "opinions" are so twisted and completely wrong that it is clear she's made up most of this crap in her own vapid, empty head. I may be beating a dead horse, but something happened to her and it's left her without a conscience, without any sort of ability to feel anything for the living, unless of course, it's an animal. She has elected herself as the sole "keeper of the flame" when it comes to E. His protector, as if he will somehow know and "bless" her with some sort of prize. She's said that she's never been to Graceland. I suppose she thinks this is some type of punishment for Priscilla, since Cilla is "responsible for E's death" and for running his empire. Silly little woman! Just think, the "greatest" fan of all, and never has been to his home. Anyway, no amount of talking or name calling will convince her that she's wrong about anything.

First of all, I am not an underdog. Being in the minority on a computer website does not make a person a persecuted minority or an underdog.

"She has elected herself as the sole keeper of the flame" . That is a very sad statements, since you are saying that I am the only one doing it. That is what is sad. That most of the people who come on this board and call themselves Elvis fans and will stand up for his accusers and even make up their own filth to heap on his name. They don't even TRY to clean up his name or to protect it in any way. That is what is sad. Not that I do it.

"No amount of name calling will ever convince her of anything". No, of course not. Why WOULD it???? LOGIC is what changes a person's mind, not pressure, insults and name calling.

Talking WOULD change my mind if anyone offered a logical argument. But just insisting that something is true over and over is not logic. Just saying over and over that every child who is molested is traumatized is not a logical argument. If you want to convince anyone you have to give REASONS why you believe that, and how YOU can see into the mind of someone who says they were NOT damaged and know better than THEY do!!!

And what did I make up in my own head????That you cannot look into someone elses head and know what they think and feel???

And your comments about Priscilla and graceland here just prove that you cannot separate issues.

You should take your car, pour gasoline all over it, get inside and light a cigarette, that's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it.

Ok Lee, I will say something good about Elvis. "I believe" he was a kind, generous man. I believe he loved people, his family, his fans. I know he gave away much of his fortune to those less priviledged. He created and gave to charities faithfully. I also believe that, even though he failed at being "perfect", he was a Godly man. And being less than perfect means he failed sometimes. It's alright, he was human. I don't believe all of his good traits could buy him a place in heaven or earn salvation. He had to accept the free gift of grace. I hope he did. I'd love to think that I'd see him again some day. I'd love to think he's singing with angels even now.

Yes, you certainly are entitles to it. But it is the same empty headed, emotional, completely lacking in logic garbage you have always offered. The ONLY thing you have to offer.

Many professional.therapists disagree with Clancy. I am looking at her book to see what all the fuss is. The woman insults & belittles victims.
