IF you're talking to me-- I'd like to see the one and only truth.
NOT just some story a few book-writers go with. It's Elvis' reputation people play with here; to make money or make them feel important. I think we all owe him that much.

Yes would like to hear Ginger's story. I think she has been quiet for a long time now. Wondered what happened to her.

The reason that Ginger has not written a book is because she would either be too embarrassed to tell the truth of why she was there or she would have to write a bunch of lies. So I think that she has chosen to remain silent, at least until her mother has passed. Then she will maybe not be so scared to write the real story. Shame.

Had a friend tell me today that she use to live in memphis, she also had a friend that owned a night club there and that ginger would come in often . one day ginger came in and ask if she could put something in their safe and they told her yes and she did.I was just wondering if anybody else had heard this or what it could have been.I did ask my friend if this was before elvis died and she said yes he was alive.

Ginger is afraid to tell her story. That is if she wrote the truth, which she can't, that is why she hasn't written a book. If she does she would have to tell how her family planned from the very beginning to sponge off of Elvis and how she was still in love with another guy and how her mother made her stay with Elvis for money. And Ginger would have to lie to make it look any different than what it was. And finally, she ended up with so much of Elvis things that she has auctioned a ton of stuff off anonymously and has been still living off of him up to now. She put the so called engagement ring up for auction and when it didn't fetch enough money for her, then she took it back and wants to get more money for it at a different auction. Oh if the world only knew. Soon they will. I hear that she is about to be exposed and is scared of what is coming out in a particular book.

Got any proof of this, or are you just pulling an opinion out of your fat ass?

"TLC"/"Was There" (Same person):

No one is interested in your "Memphis Mafia Princess" book or your jealous, bitter rants re: Ms. Ginger Alden. Any gifts Mr.Presley gave her are hers to do with as she pleases and it is none of your business what she does with them. What a judgmental busybody you are.

Mr. Presley's fans would only be interested in reading books written by meaningful people in his life like Ms. Alden and Ms. Linda Thompson. Both ladies have treasured his memory with dignity and class.

You could take a lesson from both ladies.

The MM & "elvis experts" have had their stories out here for 35 years. We might learn something if we let someone else have a say. Even Ms Thompson has weighed in with her interviews. So far I've not heard a thing from Ms Alden....except when she was paid for her interviews.{Commercial Appeal & National Enquirer } Oh yes...& her mother suing the Presley Estate ; to pay for house ....{she lost}

Alden Vs. Presley Court Case:

Burlington, IA

#95 Aug 11, 2012

August 19,1977:

Ginger Alden, the dark-haired beauty who in five months was to become the next Mrs. Elvis Presley, was still wearing her 11 1/2-carat diamond engagement ring as she recalled the final hours of the singer's life.
"I said,'Elvis,' and he didn't answer, so I opened his bathroom door and that's when I saw him in there," she said in a soft but steady voice Thursday night at her home. "I slapped him a few times and it was like he breathed once when I turned his head. I raised one of his eyes and it was just blood red but I couldn't move him."

Miss Alden, wearing the black dress she wore only hours earlier to the funeral, said she wanted to convince herself Presley was not dead. She failed.

"I thought at first he might have hit his head because he had fallen out of his black lounging chair and his face was buried in the carpet," said Miss Alden.

"He said,'I'm going into the bathroom to read,'(Tuesday morning) and that's the last thing he said to me. I didn't want to think he was dead. God wouldn't want to take him so soon."

The moments of uncertainty began about 2:20 p.m. and passed like hours, Miss Alden said. She quickly summoned road manager Joe Esposito and Al Strada, a bodyguard, and Presley's personal physician, Dr. Nichopoulos.

Ok so even if Elvis Presley was the "king" - why would a normal 20 year old or 21 - whatever age Ginger was when she got with him - be interested for very long?> Also it didn't bother her at all to get with him knowing he was with Linda Thompson either. There is no way that with all Elvis's illnesses and prescription drugs that he could have had sex with her - why would someone want to marry someone knowing they'd never have sex? Strange don't you think? And it's terrible that with Ginger having a ring worth thousands of dollars that Elvis gave her that she just did not SELL IT TO PAY FOR HER MOM's house?? Once Elvis was gone, he could no longer keep giving gifts - if he had been concerned about the monthly mortgage papers on her house - would he have not mentioned in his will that it was to continue??

Just for clarification ms dalton, Elvis was not with Linda Thompson in Nov of 76 when he met Ginger. Its so refreshing to know people who were not there know the truth over the ones that were. Jealousy is a horrible thing and I feel a lot of people are jealous of Ginger. If you knew her or her family you would not be quick to judge them as they are a wonderful family.
