Apparently the reason she was being attacked was because she said in her book that Elvis told her that he thought he had bone cancer in his knees. I don't know why anyone would accuse her of lying if he said that to her, what's wrong with her telling it???

There was a report in the middle 60s that Elvis had such pain in his knees that the doctors thought me might have some awful disease, but that's all I ever heard about it.

She also said that she had a sexual relationship with Elvis ... while he was married.

So, Kathy must be lying ... right, Lee? As you seem to think Elvis was completely faithful to Cilla while they were wed, for reasons known only to you.

So, which is it? Are you going to defend Kathy against these attacks, or are you going to accuse her of lying as well?

I said before, I think her timeline was wrong. She said the affair lasted a certain period of time, and then Elvis went on stage and said, "Kathy gets her fun anywhere she can find it." Well, that comment was on one of the documentaries, and it was WAY after his divorce from Priscilla.

It was a long time ago, after all.

What I meant to say was that if the affair was the length she said it was, and he made the comment when this film was made, her timeline has to be off.

And no, I don't have the book or the dates with me, so don't ask.

Oh, so her timeline must be off?!

Sure. It'd be SO easy to forget when one slept with Elvis Presley!!

Fact: Kathy slept with Elvis WHILE HE WAS MARRIED.

Accept it.

Still waiting on that Cilla/Stone press conference.

Any time you wanna give us some info about it.

Any time at all ...

You've obviously never read the book.

She talks about the affair, and when it was.

She then talks about the time FIVE YEARS later when Elvis - obviously stoned out of his mind on drugs - made those comments on stage about Kathy, and the "Catfish" comments about The Sweets.

But how would Elvis know he had bone cancer back in 1970? Which doctor told him that?

The Doctors who did the autopsy never said anything about that.

Bill Burk also talked to the doctors back then, this is was he said....

"A day or so after the autopsy was performed, I talked with one of the doctors who was THERE (who also had been treating me as a patient off-an-on for 3 years and who had kept me informed of Elvis' medical problems all those 3 years).

This is what he reported to me about cancer: "They found a very minute trace of osteomylitis in his right shin. About the size of a pinhead. It was SO new they said it COULD have developed in the last day or two."

Osteomylitis is a form of bone cancer. A pinhead trace was definitely not life threatening.
In FACT, Mickey Mantle had osteomylitis when he reported to the New York Yankees at age 19 and the Mick went on to enjoy a full Hall of Fame career for the Yankees and when he died, the bone cancer had NOTHING to do with his death!"

Elvis would not have known that since 'it developed in the last day or two' so nothing was spread all over his body either...

No idea. A friend of mine had been looking for Kathy's answer to this too. Found what she said, sent it to her & posted it here. I don't know Kathy personally. All I can say is....I do know people sometimes get it in their heads they have a disease/illness & no matter what a doctor tells them;you can't change their minds. Since there are others that said Elvis told them he had cancer; maybe he believed he did.None of the doctors I talked to said he did.

I think its a problem when kathy writes it has been confirmed during the autopsy and yet none of the doctors who did the autopsy came forward and confirmed any such thing.

which other people did Elvis mention this to ..?

anyway, Elvis could very well have said it but that dosen't mean it was true. it could also have been some kind of excuse to justify why he would take the drugs to those pepole around at the time...who knows?

EIN talks to dr. Nick

EIN: Many things have been claimed about ElvisÂ’ medical conditions around the time of his death. A number of people close to him have claimed he said he had bone cancer. Was this a medical issue for Elvis?

Dr. Nick: The bone cancer theory came from a doctor on the autopsy team, who thought there were signs of bone cancer evident at autopsy. After further tests were performed, and I explain this in my book, it was determined that Elvis did not have bone cancer.

he didn't have cancer
Elvis told a few people the story to see if it would be repeated so he could know who to trust
Dr nick also invented a bone cancer story to convince Vernon that Elvis was going to die and that it wasn't Dr Nick's fault - Charlie Hodge reported in his book that he was present when Dr Nick made these claims to Vernon and Charlie apparently believed them
but Elvis was not riddle with bone cancer, he wouldn't have been able to tour just 6 weeks before his death

If you have or get a Face Book acct. you can ask Kathy questions here sometimes :https://www.facebook.com/#!/p ages/Kathy-Westmoreland-Offici al-Fanpage/209112659106985

In her notes section there, she talks about some of her times with Elvis on and off stage. I wouldn't presume to copy any of it; it's her stories & life.

I don't recall her saying it was five years later. Yes, I did read the book.

If he had a pre-cancerous condition in his knees, it could have been very painful.

I read somewhere that his knees were never checked. Maybe I am wrong about that.

Anyway, Kathy did not say that Elvis had bone cancer. She said that Elvis TOLD HER that he thought he had bone cancer in his knees. If he had pain in his knees he may have thought that.

Read it again.

Especially when she talks about the events five years after their affair ... you know, when she slept with him when he was MARRIED.

Oh, and the part in the book where she talks about her worries over him being a MARRIED man should particularly enlighten you.

And any fan knows that the "catfish" remark occured in 1975. Like me to tell you what show it was?

FACT: Elvis slept around on Priscilla.

You are hopeless.
