The Elvis Australia website is the first in the world to provide a review of the new MSG set, and the first to have it in stock!

I was wondering if you bought it yet, and if so, what is your opinion of it? I'm thinking of ordering soon, but not sure what fans think. Thanks for any input.

Yes, so the two June 10th shows are remixed as if you're sitting in the middle of the fourth row.

Both are SO much better than the original releases, especially the afternoon show.

Perfect, top notch, indispensable.

As for the DVD: the short documentary is worthwhile.

The home movie footage of the afternoon show is synced to the soundtrack: however it's only 20 mins and there are about 20 mins of black screen while the show keeps playing. A bit distracting; I think they should have filled in the blanks with pics from the show.

The only disappointing thing was the footage of the June 9th press conference: just one angle and some of it is out of sequence. Also, it's not complete. They dropped the ball here: there are other angles available in superior quality. And the sound has many of the reporters' questions muffled. Subtitles should have been added.

But it's all worth it for the two MSG shows, and the set has everything together, including a great book of notes.

I have replaced the original releases on my iPod with the two new mixes, they are magnificent!!

GET IT!!!

You might also want to track down the recent bootleg CD "Left A Good Job In The City", with the June 9th Madison Square Garden show. It's an audience recording (RCA didn't record this show) but the sound quality is ok. This was the show that the press wrote about at the time, and this CD makes a nice companion to the Prince set.

Finally, the two Aloha shows are being given the same treatment, and the 2 CD set comes out this month.

Both shows remixed for 2013, I'll be getting that too!

I'm convinced, thank you! Looks like I'm going to get myself a little gift.
