Sorry to bust your buble but Elvis did not sell a blillion records, its more around 500 million.

As far as record sales:

1. The Beatels- over a billion
2. Michael Jackson- 750 million
#. Elvis- 500 million

Ok I have heard different but this is my opinion Elvis first, Michael second, and Beatles third.
We both should post some videos of each artist on here.

It is really funny why pick on Elvis against Michael Jackson if you believe Elvis is nothing? I rather not discuss who sold more records. Elvis have left nothing to prove and history speaks for itself. You have to be around when it all started and I am sure you are not that old to be part of that Elvis generation. How can a "nobody" like Elvis who died more than 30 years ago top the biggest earning dead celebrity far more than the current living celebrities. I hope Michael Jackson beat this record 30 years after his death.

But the general public is still listening to Elvis Presley, "The Icon of the 20th Century", today in the 21st Century.:-)

Watch out for the latest release "Elvis's Christmas Duets", on sale NOW.

I think this is pointless because everybody has there own opinion and will say something different every time. Another thing these music stars did different styles of music Elvis did country, Rock, Rhythm and blues, and Gospel, while Michael did Pop. Yes you probably can say that Michael is a better dancer then Elvis, but in acting Elvis is way better since he stared in 31 movies where Michael wasn't in any movies. So it is pointless to compare them because both are wonderful singers that brought us great music. So instead of comparing them lets just enjoy them and there music.

Well to me that billion thing for elvis dosn't make sence to me, The RIAA said elvis sold 118.5 in the US, that means Elvis would have sold over a billion out side of the US, when his greatest succesess was in the US. Dosn't sound right.

Well actually,(I don't want to sound mean but) Michael achomplished way more than elvis did. Also Forbes lists Elvis as earning $52 million now that he is dead, but they list Michael at being worth $350 million.

Well acyually Michael dose Pop / R&B / Rock / Soul / Dance / Disco / Motown / Funk / New Jack Swing. Also Elvis is a better actor, but Michael's Music videos are like mini-movies with story lines and special effects and all that good stuff. But Yes lets just listen to the music and enjoy ower lives, I agree with you.

If you thought that, why did you join this forum? Micheal is very talented. I was just watching an old movie, Willard, which reminded me of another movie, Ben, in which Micheal sang that heart tugging love song of a lonely little boy who had not a friend in the world except a rat that came into his room. A love song to a rat. But it was heartwrenching. I do want a copy of it.

But if you think he is better than Elvis, you don't know Elvis' work. It covers every kind of music, except rap and hiphop, and he was better at each kind of music than anyone else. You are probably just going by a few songs and what you've seen on TV and it is not enough to know Elvis.

You must be awfully young to think that. Elvis was way more successful than Micheal, tho Micheal was very big.

Uh, Micheal has a small advantage, don't you think? Like-he's alive.

Then why did the guinness world records name him the most successful entertainer of all time? I could go on for hours on why Michael is way better than Elvis.
