<quoted text>No they weren't. There was plenty of dirt dished about other celebrities, but not Elvis, because even when they sent spies to Graceland they couldn't FIND any dirt on him. That is why I think most of the stuff that has come out since his death is just garbage. They couldn't get anything on him when he was alive because there was nothing really there.
Remember Tab Hunter's scandal about the dog? Remember a book called "Hollywood Babylon"? The edition now is updated, but then it was full of scandal about the celebrities. Lana Turner? Remember Confidential Magazine?
Tab Hunter kept his sexuality hidden in the closet because it was illegal back then. What was that about Tab Hunter and a dog?

Lana Turner's 14 year old daughter murdered her mother's lover because he had raped her. That's not a scandal but a tragedy.

The media lie and stoop low they gave Princess Diana and Michael Jackson a hard time all the time. Her children don't take no shit from the media and MJ's children will do the same.

Fatty's career ended because he committed a rape and murder, not from some lie invented by the media.
The media never spread lies about celebrities in the old days like they did about Michael Jackson.
Actually, the tabloid media did spread lies on Fatty Arbunkle because he never raped or murdered the woman. She was drunk and Fatty was at the party, put her to bed because she was ill and she died in a hospital three days later of a punchured blatter. Fatty was arrested and the media told stories that Arbunkle raped her causing her blatter to explode. No evidence of a rape but in 1921, the medical profession was totally clueless. Anyway, Fatty was found not guilty but his career ended because of the media. So, you are incorrect. His career did end from a lie invented by the media. 1921-1922 was the old days.

John Lennon is definitely the King of Rock and Roll, he was also a prophet. When the Messiah came out almost 30 years ago, there was a group an album and a song. The group is Supertramp, the Rock that begat her. The song is Maggie Mae by Rod Stewart and the album was Shaved Fish by John Lennon. Also, at the same time the Messiah came out, Milk and Honey was released by Yoko Ono. Strange Days and I'm steppin out. It was very prophetic.

No spies infiltrated Graceland because the Memphis Mafia and EP had fire arms which they all used regularly.
MJ was a man of peace, the media would have left him alone too if he had of done what EP did.
Elvis had death threats so it was understandable that he carried a gun. The Manson family murders in 1969 certainly made Elvis aware of what could happen plus jealous boyfriends or husbands waiting for the purpose of harming him, Elvis was prepared and ready to protect himself, Lisa Marie and his family if needed. Nothing exactly wrong with that, right? MJ had locks and alarms on his bedroom doors and loads of pornography in Neverland. Man of peace?

Besides, tabloids and movie magazines were about the same in the seventies except unlike today, they used fake photos to link certain celebrities with each other. Like Elvis and Cher with stories of Cher carrying Elvis's baby. Stuff like a photo of Elvis in 1972 with a photo of a sports car in the background saying that Elvis died in a car crash in Nashville and RCA was keeping it top secret. It was because they really couldn't get much on Elvis. The only time the media saw Elvis was from the stage. It pissed them off because Elvis never went to red carpet events or Hollywood parties. They did get Elvis in a snow suit while on vacation in Vail in 1976 on a snowmobile. It came out in a tabloid under the words, "Elvis: The Night Stalker" Pretty harmless.

Since when pornography is a tool of violence? Guns definitely are! Have a look at the many innocent victims that died from the bullet.

Elvis had stacks of bodyguards in a household that was always full of people. There was no excuse for him to be so paranoid. Gracelands is a cottage compared to Neverland and MJ never had a single gun. That's because he was a man of peace.

Three points there, crack wh*re.

1. Elvis' men ceased to be bodyguards behind closed doors, they were his friends.

2. No, Wacko didn't have guns. But Elvis never had "art" books depicting nude boys and he never slept with kids in his bed.

3. It's Graceland, not Gracelands. And the size of the house is irrelevant. Sort of like your opinions.

Don't you just wonder where these nutballs get their ideas? The mere fact that they attempt to compare these two men is outrageous! E. loved women, MJ didn't seem to pay much attention to them. And E. was so masculine, at least in my estimation. He's been called androgynous, but I don't really get that. MJ, on the other hand was quite androgynous in his voice, mannerisms, his hair, etc.

Since when is it acceptable for a grown man to have books filled with photos of nude and seminude children? Michael had "stacks" of bodyguards in his home, which was always filled with little boys. more than likely, security carried guns.

I can't believe you would even compare Elvis and Michael. Let it alone, f'loon.

Who sent spies to Graceland?
There wasn't never any dirt on Elvis cause he worked all the time.
He once got upset over "Movie Magazines" from the stage.
It was closing night in Las Vegas September 2, 1974.
Elvis let it be known about what he thought about a few subjects.
The only thing that they can get him on is drug addiction.
By now, it is really old news.
Confidential magazine once complained that they would like to write about Elvis, but he led a "boring" life. Rhona Barrett was one who would send girls up to Graceland, usually by getting them to pretend to like some member of the MM. She always said that they would come back saying it was a bore. Except for once, when she said there was more or less an orgy going on, but Elvis was not around, or the girl spies did not see him.

It was the seventies and Elvis liked his guns. He was not a hunter that killed animals. He collected badges and liked his guns. Since he was threatened, he had the right to be concerned about someone wanting to harm him and his daughter, Lisa Marie. Elvis never actually shot anybody so obviously he had some respect for guns. I'd say he was paranoid to a point but it was understandable since he was once a target of the famous Manson family that had him on their list of celebrities they wanted to murder. The Sharon Tate murders were a big deal back in 1969 and other celebrities were also paranoid at that time. Graceland was bought in 1957 for Elvis's mother Gladys and it is still a very roomy house. Elvis didn't buy it for its size. It was big enough. Besides, it wasn't the only house Elvis owned. He had several over the years but kept Graceland as his main house when he returned to Memphis. Why would Jacko have pornography in his home when he had always claimed that it was a place for kids with rides, games, toys, food, Disney movies and other kiddie attractions? Ted Bundy blamed pornography for his mass killing of female victims in the seventies. I certainly wouldn't know its link to violence but it just proves that Michael Jackson desired to look at books and pictures with naked boys in them. After all, why else would he have collected that stuff in a place that according to him, was designed as a wonderful place for kids.

Rhona Barrett was a famous tabloid hound of the seventies and was known to have attented Elvis concerts in Las Vegas. Sure, she probably wanted juicy scoops on Elvis because its obvious that she was obsessed by him. Since Elvis did not usually hang out with Hollywood big wigs and celebrities, he was very difficult to pin point. He remains very mysterious to most because he kept his life very private when he wasn't working. I wouldn't know about spies but I'm sure a lot of female fans wanted to meet Elvis. I've even heard about the girl that once tried to mail herself in a crate to get inside of Graceland. That is quite funny, really. Elvis was different than most entertainers. In reality, Elvis wanted normal people around him and did not like to bring attention to himself when he had some rare free time to just relax, ride his motorcycle or enjoy a football game.

MJ's Neverland was an open house to the public because he had nothing to be afraid of. His conscious was clean to ever receive the death threats EP got.

The pictures were never classified as pornographic material. That's why he was never charged for having them in his possession.

MJ was a legend in his own right just as EP was. Not only are they comparable, they were related by marriage. If EP were alive he would have loved MJ too.

Ha ha ha.

Good luck with that, dear, because it ain't gonna happen.

Meanwhile, Graceland attracts 600,000 visitors a year, 35 year after Elvis died.

Why is it Wacko fans can't even a get a few hundred together fans on his death anniversary? Anywhere ...
