She said WOW! you must really love Elvis, I said I do, my dream is to someday to go upstairs. She said listin I'm I'm trying to make it threw School and for a great tip you can walk with me to lock the door and follow me out back to catch the bus they way she smiled when she said that I knew there was more to this than locking the door, so I gave her a $200.00 tip. We walked in and shut the door and locked it she began to walk up the steps and I never asked any questions I just followed her the to black leather doors on the left were locked with two locks she walked down the hall to the left was a dressing room on the right was Lisa's bedroom then she turned around smiled and walked threw the open walk way into this dressing roomand there was no door we walked into the bathroom where Elvis Presley died, brown carpert black comade, I was in shock we walked out and down the steps the walk lasted maybe 4 min.'s the we where back at the foot of the steps and out the back door. I will never forget how sad I felt I wish I had never done it. but I will stand by my story and this is the truth, all it takes is being one on one with who ever locks up at closing time and $$$ will get you anything you want on this Earth. Sad but true.
Cool Story....If l was working there i would sneak up there too. I'm sure others have done that.
If Graceland should loose money i'm sure the the Upstairs will be open to the public.- as you say money talks...

Wow, this is certainly interesting. And sheesh, it's amazing what someone has to go through just to enter a bedroom or the upstairs of Graceland. What about the poor cleaners? if there is any...:gonk:

Thanks for sharing.:D

I was in Memphis this past summer. Happened to meet a Former Graceland maintaince worker from the late 80's.
He said the upstairs is all cleaned out and that the reason the upstairs is not open to public is due to fire zones and codes.
Also noted that many of Elvis's belongings are located in refrigerated storage units across from the property. Another Memphis local told me the same thing about the storage units. I do not beleve the secret room is on the estate itself.

I agree this story is Bullshit. This very topic is bull. you don't have to do all that to get up stairs. the only person who gets up stairs is the supervisor. She go up every now and then to get files that are stored or to clean up a little. she has the key on her. i told her about this list they say you have to go thru and she laughed.

Gee that's awful. Why would they clean out the upstairs bedroom? They should have kept it the way it was when Elvis left.

i also agree, i think that his personal life should not be put out into the world he was a man and a man has the right to keep his life private. even if there was a secret up there it could change his reputation which may hurt his fans or the people around him.

What possible secret could be up there that could change his reputation? And what else could possibly be said about him??? They have already accused him of everything!!

You don't like it when someone tells you off for saying that Elvis had intercourse with underage girls???

With absolutely no evidence whatsoever you accuse him of that. Too bad you think I'm an idiot for telling you off, but if all you want to do is accuse him of filth, you don't belong on an Elvis fan's forum.

If they didn't care about the upstairs enough to clear it out, what is the harm in keeping it furnished and extending the tour to include it? No there is definately stuff up there.

On my last visit to Graceland in 2010 several maintenance guys were walking in and out of the house. I took my head phones off and stopped one of them and asked about the upstairs. I was crushed by his blunt answer. " We go up there all the time!" I asked what was up there he replied "Nothing it's all been moved out and is in storage just empty rooms." I am sure Graceland has a good security staff but if its like most places I have worked the employees do a lot after things shut down. Needless to say I was shocked and saddened by this.
