Raquel has a new book out....she tells about sex with Elvis....

She is now on the circuit tour, and it is going to be interesting, she has listed several men, dean martin , Elvis and others.

can't wait to hear/ read what she says about elvis.

OF course...we all know he didn't have time for ALL those women....

First, let´s separate what she just said on Oprah, and what she may have written on her book, as well as what she´s said about Elvis in the past. I just watched the portion of the show where she spoke about Elvis , and first she mentioned that neither Elvis or Dean were her type. Then, Oprah asked her to identify the pople she did not wish to identify by name in her book. "A missile....bla, bla, bla", that was Richard Burton, she said. Then Oprah asked, who was she referring when saying that the man was "like high octane energy set on idle". Oh, that was Elvis, she replied, adding that he had a lot of energy, all inside, but kept it there, because he hid it all under a cool posture. Then Opra asked her whether Elvis had seduced her. She said no. Opra asked then whether he´s d tried, and then Raquel said that she´s been invited by him to a place, but she decided not to go, because she "didn´t want to be another notch in his gun".

Now, I don´t know if there were any other references about Elvis, by name, in her book, but in the past she´s been quoted as saying that, in the early days, she fell in love with Elvis when she saw him live at the San Diego Arena, in 1956. He had animal magnetism, she was 13, etc, but that the Elvis she then got to know, when he was 29 and she was 18, on the set of "Roustabout" disappointed her, ostensibly because he had no longer that magnetism, he was too cool.

Come to think of it, that´s why she did not go to "the place" he invited her. In addition, she was married with two kids, but on the verge of divorcing her husband in 1964, which is when "Roustabout" was actually filmed. Makes sense she not wanting to become, as she put it, another notch on his gun, especially since she probably felt a lot of pressure, and come to think of it, clearly an inferior item, then. it was not until a year later, in 1965, when she became known, worldwide.

Yes...you are SO right....the trailers leading up to promote the book lead on to believe she had slept with Elvis...

She said she didn't want to be another knotch on belt...
