I thought I'd start a new discussion and see if anyone is interested. There are a lot of pictures out there of Ginger and of Priscilla. In some of them I had to look twice to tell who was who. Anyone else feel the same way?

I agree with you, though I think Priscilla was the better looking of the two. That was back then, she does not have that same beauty today. Not necessarily her face, but I don't like her hairstyle either.

Priscilla was definitely prettier than Ginger. And even now, after the plastic surgery disaster, she'd still look better if her hair were less severe in it's style and color. In some of the old pics of Ginger, she's wearing clothes that were similar to Priscilla's and her hair is almost an exact copy too, as is her make-up. But when she's smiling, the difference is very evident. I've heard that a lot of men will continue to pick a woman who looks like his first love or like his first wife. Who knows?

Yes, I have. That is one of the reasons I have always said he still loved Priscilla. He was trying to make himself feel like he still had Priscilla. If you look at them without makeup, they are identical except for the eye color. If you look at them with makeup, same.

Up to the very end, he desperately wanted Priscilla back.

Actually, Cilla's plastic surgery has settled down a bit, and she doesn't look as bad as she did.

She, like Linda, was a beautiful woman, and the surgery was totally unecessary.

I'm curious to know what she would have aged like naturally. To see her then and now without anything done, would have been interesting...

It has settled :). Linda, on the other hand looks pretty frightening. She was so pretty before all those injections. I hope to grow old gracefully, hehe.

I had always thought Cilla was attractive with her very fine features but it was when I was in the Car Museum in Memphis during Elvis Week 2012 that I saw a photograph of her in a car that Elvis had given her in the 60's. My gosh she was just drop dead gorgeous - not too much make up of the dark stuff but just so classical and I could really appreciate why Elvis fell for her as he did. Yes I think Ginger was a tad lookalike Priscilla also - I do not know how Ginger looks these days.

Priscilla was as beautiful as Elvis was.She was the most beautiful of all.Ginger would be the 2nd most beautiful and did look alot like Priscilla.Linda and the others were not pretty enough for the beautiful man he was.I guess that when people go out and pick women for you there is no telling what you will end up with.Linda was the worst of all.I think Elvis could trust her with his private secrets so he held on to her until Ginger was brought to him.By luck she was beautiful, resembled Pris the love of his life and was a trusting women as well.Poor Elvis he never really could go out and find love on his own.He did have two beautiful women in his short lived life.Priscilla and Ginger.Linda, sorry, but you were so unatractive I guess thats why he dumped you for Ginger. To bad it took him such a long time to find his Priscilla look alike.

I always thought Cilla was the most beautiful of the 3 women. Early on in the photos of her and Elvis she is seen looking into his eyes, focusing on him and looking totally enamored of him. Ginger always seems aloof, even after his death when she was interviewed, she's cold and distant. Too matter-of-fact in her speech. Linda, to this day, is very sweet about her relationship with him. To me she was second only to Priscilla. Linda, although blonde, was exotic and very sexy. I love the clothes that both she and Cilla wore. Ginger was more low-key in her attire, more traditional. There is something disingenous about Ginger that comes through in photos as well as in interviews. The only thing I ever "admired" about her was her unwillingness to talk about her private life with E.

I have never seen a more beautiful woman than Priscilla was when she was young.

Linda was a brunette when Elvis met her. She looked so much better with the long dark hair.

Yes, it was obviously his attempt to have Priscilla back. The only thing missing was the huge blue eyes.

In the mid-seventies, yes.

If you can't see that, you're obviously blind and stupid to boot.

I truly believe Elvis was so In love with Priscilla. I believe in my heart she was the love of his life but things got in the way. Although he had affairs with other women he still loved her and she was always on his mind. Ginger must have reminded Elvis of Priscilla in so many ways. I am not saying he didn't love other women I just think she was the one he loved most. I think he babied Priscilla and treated her like a child at times but in the end he wanted her back even though it was too late. If he lived longer they probably would have gotten back together. Rock&Roll is a difficult life to live. He loved women too much too ever just live with one woman. In the end I think he realized he didn't need all the other women. He realized what was important in the end. I wish people would give Priscilla more credit for loving him so much and doing everything she could to love him. They both made mistakes but just because you get divorced does not mean you do not love each other. There was absolutely still love there between them.

Christina, you are pretty much on the money.
Elvis acknowledged that it was mostly his fault that Priscilla had affairs and left him. He always wanted her back after the she left.

Just weeks before he died she was with him, and he was trying to win her back. He believed that if she and Lisa-Marie would come home to him, he would be able to pull himself together. Unfortunately, we'll never know what his future would have been.

Cheers. DOE.

Once Elvis had decided that his relationship with Ginger was over, he tried very hard to get Priscilla back. She, however, no longer wanted to be with him, because she knew things would never change. He admitted that it was too little to late.

It's true that his infatuation with Ginger was based on what he once had had with Priscilla. Once he realized this he quickly lost interest in her.

Cheers. DOE.
