Do most people know if there was a cologne made especially for Elvis and sent only to him? Hopefully I can clarify my thoughts well enough to make sence on this; I tried to find the post about Wanda June Hill but I couldn't find it or overlooked it.
This may not mean anything at all but in my mind it is a little more reason for me personally to believe Wanda did know Elvis. Here is why I think that:
On allexperts.com this was a question asked to the expert who did not know about the cologne.
Question
Hi Cory, I have been trying to find out the name and brand of the thin cigars Elvis liked, in vanilla and cherry flavor.

Also he had cologne made for him by Bourjois Paris or Bon-Jois Paris in the 1950's, the same people who made Evening In Paris.
They made up a special scent just for him, his chemistry, no name, they just gave him his cologne's number, and put it in their signature cobalt blue bottles with a silver label. he wore it and ordered it sent to the USA until his death. Can you tell me the fragrance essences that were in it, and the perfume "number" and how to reach perhaps some older perfumerie makers from Bourjois Paris to get some made? Thanks! Thanks!

Answer
Hi Sonya,

The cigars he liked were Roi-tan, El Producto diamond tip, Villager Kiels, Rum Crooks and Hav-a-Tampa Jewels.

I don't know about the cologne. I know he liked Brut but not heard of the one specially made for him. I would ask LaVonne at Graceland Archives. She's great and if anyone would know the answer to that, it would be her.

Thank you for the question.

Then if you look at "Wanda's treasures", http://www.elvislightedcandle.org/galleries/w... she has a picture there of one of the bottles she said is " the scent bottle with the cologne and powder made for him. After 30 years it doesn't quite smell the same but it's close''.
Maybe it's insignificant but it makes me lean more towards believe that she knew him?
the other things on that website though is possibly what makes people think it's a little wierd.(the spiritual things that are posted there that are...well...wierd.)

the photo of the scent bottle she has is the second to the last picture. Like I said it may not mean a thing, people can say they have items and that they got them from him all day and it could be a lie, but for some reason I tend to believe her?

Sure he did. Priscilla said he wore Brut, and I had a piece of one of his scarves that a fan sent me. It had the very definite scent of some cologne or bath splash or something on it..very light and clean smelling...don't know what it was.

No one will like this but I am going to say it anyway as this is America and it is my perogative (even if I cannot spell it LOL). I believe this to be true: Elvis wore a scentless cologne with pherones in it.(Can't spell that either but I am sure you get the gist). And I am not doubting that at times he wore Brut or whatever, but still, Brut or scentless pherones, which do you think won over?

Why would anyone object to your saying that?

After reading Wanda's website for a long time..I think that maybe she spoke to Elvis once or twice but the rest is more or less in her head. I think she thinks she trance channels him and got the information that way but says she was talking to him on the phone.

I do think she loves him though. I think she is a sincere fan. Her stories probably have just as much or more validity than those of the MM.

Who knows, though? Maybe her stories are true.

Someone should market this as "cologne made just for Elvis". I'm sure it would sell, big time.

Good point, probably it would sell big time. If it was true and that company did make this item just for him, i don't guess they ever put it on the market for the general public, but just for him and who knows if he wore it or even liked it...maybe so maybe not. I wonder what it smelled like though. wish i knew a little more about it and how they came up with the idea. obviously they were fans:)(whover the designers of it were)
about wanda...sometimes I believe her and other times I get to looking at the wacky stuff on there and just shrug my shoulders and go...who the heck knows. She's in her 'golden years' now,tho and said she is glad she has also written aot of things down as her memory sometimes isn't what it was, also that her daughter remembers much of it and helps her 'fill in' the parts that she doesn't remember in detail.( i guess she must mean whatever isn't on the tapes she alledgedly has or had whichever it is)
has there never been an elvis cologne on the store shelves over the years at all? there was elvis everything, lunchboxes and bobby socks back then in his very early days so that surprises me if there never was

CHARLA! You are soooo funny!!!!Thanx, I am still laughing. Pherones are the things that your body makes to attract the opposite sex. A female's pherones come out of the top of her head, that's why men are taller than females. They have no actual scent but your nose will detect them like CRAZY. You can purchase cologne (scented or unscented) which contains these pherones and it will actually attract the opposite sex. Elvis must have BATHED in the stuff.(I am laughing in a GOOD way, okay?)
