Has anyone seen or heard from this guy? Where is he now? What's the last you've heard of him.

If he's as close to this thing as he says he is, then he's probably hiding out now too.

Where is he?

If hes smart he will stay out of it-or he'll end up with egg on his face again. His career and credibility as a doctor had to have been harmed the last time.

Of course, no report about "The King" is complete without discussing "Elvis Sightings" and the people who believe he is still alive. As a side note, I offer you a Kansas City area psychiatrist who says that Elvis is alive and that he is treating him for Migraines.

Dr. Donald Hinton said, "Elvis lives and still sings, but he no longer shakes his hips because he is old now and has arthritis ... I hear from him on a regular basis ... On Sunday, it was by Phone ... I'm treating Elvis Aaron Presley, the entertainer,(whom) everybody believes died in 1977."2

Dr. Hinton, who says he has co-written a book called "The Truth About Elvis Aaron Presley," also says he has DNA evidence that his patient is Elvis. He told a reporter that Elvis plans to reveal himself to his fans in 2002, and that he "faked his death so he could get away and get healthy."

Dr. Hinton is a board-certified practicing physician, licensed in 1993, with no record of disciplinary action.

When I asked MAGNUM's Mr. Coleman about Dr. Hinton's claim, he replied that he had personally spoken with both the coroner who conducted Elvis's autopsy and Dr. George Nichopoulos, Elvis Presley's personal physician, both of whom were quite satisfied that it was indeed Elvis Aaron Presley who died in 1977.

Its kind of funny but its great he finally saw the truth.
I am glad he was finally satisfied-it was the uproar his quest for satisfaction caused which he should be sorry for.

a book by a person with no credibility is not going to be compelling

Sorry everyone! Dr. Hinton was investigated and his license for practicing was suspended once they found out he was over prescribing medication to the person he thought was Elvis, but turned out to be a fraud. His license was suspended for five years, but believe he got it back in 2007. I think he moved to St. Joseph, Missouri to start over.

All they every do to these doctors usually is slap there hands or a short suspension...and the doctors across this country policing their own is a real joke.
I am curious at this point and time what is going to happen to Anna Nicole Smith's doctors...lawyer.
Jerry Brown is grandstanding because he can...but IMO these doctors and her lawyer did no kindness to Anna by providing her these drugs. She needed help and not the kind she got.

I think it was on Elvisinfo that I read this -don't recall but I'm sure somebody else will know

A lady, part of the Elvis underground movement, did this to Dr Hinton "just for fun".-Oh, how they must have laughed!!!

I know he was foolish for falling for it, but if it was an intentional deception then how very cruel of them

Does anybody know more about it? To be honest, when I read it i felt quite sorry for the poor old doctor!!!

You mean because it was on Indian territory, Nina?
I think the suit is about providing the drugs. Not for her actual DEATH. I do agree Jerry Brown is politically grandstanding though. Can't stand the guy.

Maybe, Nina. Her son died in the Bahamas and Anna died in Florida....but the hotel she died in was on Indian property so the Indian policing agency had jurisdiction.

Both doctors and her lawyer/boyfriend (Howard Stern) are California citizens though...that is where Jerry Brown (CA Attorney General) and Calfornia come into play.

either way, it's going to be hard for them to prove they did it with the motivation for killing her

I don't think (if I understand it correctly) that that killing her is the charge though. The charge is some kind of conspiracy to get drugs illegally to Nicole and include unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance and prescribing, administering or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict.(Much like Dr. Nick did to EVIS if you ask me)

I don't think those charges will be very hard to prove and doubt that Jerry Brown would bring the charges if he didn't already have proof in hand. Doubt he would chance embarrassing himself politically. This thing has taken two years of investigating to bring the charges.

I don't think they conspired to kill her myself (though some folks at the Court TV forum do--intereting forum) I do think they conspired to do something that all three should have known/realized was wrong/illegal.

Dr Nick, the pharmacists and the other docs should all be doing hard time in my opinion

Dr. Nick certainly broke his oath to "do no harm."
I really really believe ELVIS thought he would be okay as long as what he was taking was medication precribed by doctors. I think it was his way of validating what he was doing. He must have put up a mental wall to reality. We did put doctors on a pretty high pedestals in those long ago years. I know I did for a very long time...until my little boy died. What Dr. Nick and the pharmacists did was certainly wrong in anybody's book.

it's like somehow you're not an addict since it's not street drugs

but perscription drugs are much purer than street drugs

look how many people's lives were destroyed by oxycontin

I know ZIP about drugs really. I have never even smoked a cigarette. I am just sad ELVIS fooled himself into believing he would be fine as long as a doctor was over seeing the medications.
