<quoted text>Really, it amazes me how so many straight men seem to be obsessed with Elvis. I guess it is needing someone to look up to or pattern themselves after or something.
I even saw one guy who said, "I am a straight guy who is in love with Elvis Presley." Another said, "I am straight, but when I'm around Elvis, I wish I was a girl".
I mean, it's funny. You don't see straight women pick out a female star and become obsessed with her. Well, maybe occasionally, but not often. I mean, I like Ann Margret but as a kid, or adult, I would never have tried to dress like her, wear my hair like her, etc, the way men do with Elvis.
Maybe they don't have a father, or something.
You don't recall girls dressing as Madonna? Or growning long hair like Cher? Or Pat Benatar?

yes, but taking part in a fad is different than just being obseesed with a star for life, as some of the Elvis guys seem to be.

Hey, I'm not criticizing them! I'm glad they do it.

I have to with Lee.
So much have been written 'bout Elvis - things that are private !
It's a big shame that his friends tell it all. WHY ????? WHY in the hell ? We fans do NOT need to know all thats been written. BIG SHAME!

Marty Lacker was a beloved, and trusted, friend to Elvis for decades.

Since Elvis' passing Marty has given of his time, and talents, to share his memories of Elvis onstage and off.

Sadly with each passing year we are losing those who; Elvis loved, Elvis befriended, Elvis worked with, were related to Elvis, etc. With Myrna and Lamar (sadly) being the most recent to have passed away.

Hence, we should enjoy the insights and memories that Marty has for tomorrow is never guaranteed.

Great Elvis post by the way.

Take care and may God bless you.

You mean the "insights" he has given us like when he accused Elvis of sleeping with Nancy Sinatra while he was married to Priscilla????? You mean that insight?? Even though both Elvis and Nancy said there was NO romance there and that it NEVER HAPPENED?????? That insight????

Yes, Elvis love and trusted Marty just like he loved and trusted all of them. But like all the others Marty has dragged Elvis through the mud ever since he died.

Good speed to hell for this guy.

Wrong again, Fatty.

Marty already addressed this in this very thread, directly to you:
Marty Lacker wrote:
<quoted text>Another genius heard from. Can you people think of any more crap you'd like to make up out of your know nothing mind? I never said Elvis had an affair with Nancy before or after he was married.
Now then, Fatty, exactly where and when did Marty say Elvis and Nancy had an affair?

As expected...you really must broaden your vocabulary. There are these ingenious things called books. You should try one.

He said it on one of those tabloid tv shows.

Elvis indeed had sex with lots of women - of course he'd be accused of such with every woman he was seen with, in movies with, etc.

I don't beleive he was ever true to anybody and was confused about who and what he wanted and needed like a normal person is - it's just that he was so famous, he was more talked about. It's so sad he could not even go on a nice dinner or movie date for fans TRYING TO TEAR HIS CLOTHES OFF - though he says they paid for them - he became a recluse first for that reason, then when he got older and bloated and didn't look and entertain his best.

His sing voice - wonderful - his talking voice - silky - his moves (sexy)- his intelligence - HIGH - it's just his heart he mainly appeared to have problems with and HIS PHYSICAL HEALTH

You have no way of knowing how many women Elvis had sex with.

You don't either Lee. Anybody is "retarded" who doesn't think he had a lot of sex except for has last year when he was so sick. All women wanted this man and he was a human you know. He picked women out from his concerts and had them brought to him. And you don't think that meant he was attracted to them? OMG who are you?

In life there are times when people can disagree. Such is the case concerning Marty Lacker. However, I have respect for passionate fans, such as yourself, and for sharing your opinions/insights online.

Take care and may God bless you.
