The SNL skit peripherally about this (really about the finger during the Superbowl halftime) was sharp.

"One Finger, One Million Moms" with their "decency strap." Nice.

To Tuscan Jack, simple stylish timeless standards can be found just about anywhere. Most stores have the basic T black or white, a white dress shirt, a classic jean or the little black dress. The gay community has a history with fashion because the first people that were able to come out of the closet were gays with money, some of which worked in fashion or in Hollywood. In the early days a gay auto mechanic probably wouldn't be accepted, but get dressed up like you had money and instead of being shunned you would be accepted and treated well by businesses that wanted your money. Also working retail in men's clothing was and to some extent still a niche many gay Americans continue to fill (hey why not get the better more stylish product if you can get it at the same price as others are paying for junk). Trust me there are tacky gays too, they just tend not to wear plaid, or T's with local sports teams, domestic autos, or rock bands on them.

I heard you are going to be on the cover of the catalog, labeled "Clothes to make the celibate look less odd!" and "Easy outfits for frequent moving".

I've worn basically the same type of clothes everyday since 1976.

That being Levi's jeans, a t-shirt, a vest, a flannel shirt and Levi's jacket when the temperature calls for it, and boots.

I have had the Levi's logo tattooed on my shoulder for decades.

That is the only way I've dressed for more than 3 decades. It goes well with my long shoulder-length blond hair.

Oh, look. the thing with a thousand names is busy again. Shh, it only wakes up for a while, farts out a posting, and then goes back into its hole and licks itself till it falls asleep. It is harmless, but very stupid.

Except for the long blond hair. Good lord, anyone who is still wearing ANYTHING that he wore 30 years ago needs a serious intervention.

True. Most of the Clones in those days wore buzz cuts.
