I have seen some of the Ellen commercials for J.C. Penney, and I haven't seen anything offensive about them - I have found them to be humorous.
And, for the record, I am a conservative Christian. I'm sure I haven't seen them all, but I have not seen anything that promotes or endorses homosexuality. They're cute little commercials far as I have seen. She's a woman who happens to be in show business - it's her job - it's how she makes a living. And as long as the commercials are funny and entertaining and don't promote a gay agenda, I have no problem with them. It's like I tell other people who have a problem with the gay thing, you have to love the person first - you can hate what they do or believe, but you must love a person before you have any credibility with that person. Bashing people doesn't work; never has and it never will. I have gay friends whom I love. I don't love their lifestyle, but I love them. And if and when I do speak to them about their lifestyle they will politely listen and still like me because they know I love them and have their best interests at heart always. They may not comply with whaI I believe, but it's not my job to change them. My only job is to relay what God had to say about it.
My question Faye is what you mean by promoting a gay agenda.
I really don't think JC Penney sells Equal access to the law?
also when you tell your gay friends what god has to say about homosexuality you are insulting there intelligence, weather you realize it or not you are judging them and hurting them. Faye you seem like a fair minded person you may want to read this it might enlighten you http://www.soulforce.org/resources/what-the-b...

Ellen in the third Ozzie and Harriet bed raises a few semi comedic questions, but I think we all know JC Penney, Kmart and Sears have a tough battle against Target and Wallymart.
Not the best directed and edited commercial - the timing's a little flat, the laugh track gag is not so fresh, but I don't see any of this as Ellen's fault.
I was hoping they could have shown her fisting her homosexual lover. That way the consumer could have really gotten a "feel" for what Ellen DeGenerate's "lifestyle" is all about. Plus the camera angles were all wrong, they didn't bring out her manliness at all. Horrors!
