Dee Dee is a class act all the way. Saw her a few times I believe it might have been with Thad and Mel. It would be great if she lived in Chi and we could call her our own.

For smooth jazz fans, there's a new online station that popped up in the wake of WNUA, chitownsmoothjazz.com . It is a multichannel format, with a main channel as well as "Smooth Instrumentals," "Groove Jazz," "Smooth Saxophone," etc. Former WNUA DJ Rick O'Dell is even working on it.

Another station popped up a few hours after WNUA. It is located on 87.7 and is a national broadcast with very few commercials. Brian Culbertson hosts the morning program and they even use the old WNUA jingle in the broadcast. Here's to keeping smooth jazz going in Chicago!
